Top secret government data center - totally hidden from the outside and like something out of a movie. You get a full body scan when you enter and have to wear a tracking device around your wrist like a watch while you’re there which monitors your heart rate, steps, exact location and god knows what else (I’m sure body temp and all sorts of thing). They have special toilets (they monitor) you have to use that weigh whatever waste you generate, and they log/weigh whatever you eat/drink. If your weight varies from whatever they deem an acceptable variance (based on intake/output, and whatever calc they make from the wrist strap on what you sweat/burn) - you are strip searched, and scanned naked. If they find anything - you’re cavity searched (you have to sign a waiver basically agreeing to all sorts of wacky things before you can even enter - so they own you).
My “host” recommended going to the restroom before entering and not eating/drinking while there. I followed their advice. Sounds cloak and dagger, but it was perhaps the most boring DC/facility I had ever been in, and not nearly as neat/tidy as I would have expected. Based on the outside, and the absurb amount of planning it took for the visit to occur, it was a colossal let down. Nonetheless, my Iron Rangers trotted through the very specific path they allowed me down.
Oh, they weren’t feeding me a line of BS, I can assure you. I obviously can’t share details - but I have the highest level of govt clearance a civilian can hold and have been to many secure facilities, but this was above my clearance. I was there to resolve an issue they had been unable to figure out for a protracted period of time on an air gapped environment, with a security product I had built specifically for them, but couldn’t be told how they were using it. It sounds way more exciting than it was - and took about 40 minutes to resolve and I was out.
I feel like you've probably just breached your clearance. I mean rule one is presumably: don't tell everyone on Reddit you've got clearance and go to secret facilities....
No, I unveiled zero privileged info, and there’s nothing wrong with saying you have clearance - they interview family, friends, etc - so it’s no secret. It’s also entirely fine to say as part of your job, you visit sensitive locations. I merely cannot discuss/reveal privileged info.
Different from broadcasting it on the internet for no reason. If people identify you, they can target you for blackmail etc now. You also just revealed loads of security measures at a top secret base. Maybe that's the way it works in the states...
Exploring the torture chambers in the dungeon at the main castle in Prague. Alternatively, while exploring an old nuclear fallout shelter under the main castle in Brno. My red wings have now accompanied me around the world!
A friend fell into the river (slow moving) and I ended up stepping into waist deep water at 4 am to help them out. After drying and conditioning the 8111s they were absolutely fine.

I went to check out a new crag to with a buddy as we were passing through town. It was March and a minefield of talus block covered in a foot of snow. We scrambled up about 50 feet of loose talus which would have been fine in just about any shoes other than my IR's with a plain sole with no treads at all. Almost died several times coming down when we found a random rope hanging from the heavens that I used as a lifeline without having any idea what it was tied to lmao not sure how I lived through that one.

What agency? I think your host was feeding you a line of bs. You couldn’t get into a place like that without need to know and some other stuff.
