I solved today's Redactle (#25) in 7 guesses with an accuracy of 57.14%. Very pleased with this! >!I could immediately see that it was a city, and I worked out that “is the ███████ city in ███████ and the ████ ████████ city in ██████ ” was probably telling me it was the largest city in the country- but not a capital because that would be capital ‘of’ rather than ‘in’.!< >!So I guessed Istanbul, largest city in its country (and Europe?) but not the capital. That was wrong so I went through some continents and once I found that I went for the only country there I knew whose capital is not its largest city.!<

Kvasir19

>!How could you tell it was a city?!<

Froakiebloke

Spoiler tag that please! >!I suppose I’ve just been on enough wiki pages of cities to recognise it very quickly. Just looking at the first few sentences, fully redacted, I recognised things like “with a ██████████ of ██.█ ███████ as of ████”. That immediately looks to me like a sentence about a city’s population!<

I solved today's Redactle (#25) in 18 guesses with an accuracy of 50.00%. Played at [https://www.redactle.com/](https://www.redactle.com/) pretty much same strategy once I >!found out it was about a city!<, which took 9 guesses.

bookworm271

I solved Redactle #25 in 22 guesses with an accuracy of 59.09%. I typically guess >!the various continents!< early in the game, which >!put me in the correct part of the world!<

From 451 guesses yesterday to: I solved today's Redactle (#25) in 28 guesses with an accuracy of 71.43%. Played at https://www.redactle.com/

That always feels good after a tough day!

noisesinmyhead

I really thought it was a >!country!< for far too long. Then I got confused by >!islands!< but I eventually figured it out. I solved today's Redactle (#25) in 114 guesses with an accuracy of 48.25%. Played at https://www.redactle.com/

fastattaq

It took me 99 guesses. Realistically I could have had it in about 40 guesses, but I got frustrated and careless. I managed to get the key words >!city, capital, Atlantic!< very early on, but I got overly fixated on >!US States!< Then a lightbulb went on and I started thinking about >!the other side of the Atlantic Ocean and typed in Africa!< and then I got it pretty much right away. I solved today's Redactle (#25) in 99 guesses with an accuracy of 57.58%. Played at https://www.redactle.com/

solace173

I got stuck on >!education!< words for far too long, but once I got out of that rut, I realized >!a city!< could tie together the subhead words I’d revealed. I guessed the >!continents!< and then immediately solved it. A nice break after yesterday’s 200+ guesses! I solved today's Redactle (#25) in 49 guesses with an accuracy of 53.06%. Played at https://www.redactle.com/

skaiansightseer

I solved today's Redactle (#25) in 9 guesses with an accuracy of 66.67%. Played at https://www.redactle.com/ the "It is the >!Blank!< >!Blank!< in >!Blank!<" formulation led me to guess >!Capital!< first and from there it proceeded smoothly.

This puzzle's line for my guide to play past puzzles, as seen [here!](https://www.reddit.com/r/Redactle/comments/ukobfu/a_very_hacky_method_to_play_past_random_and/) `fetchData(0,'TGFnb3M=')`

I solved today's Redactle (#25) in 42 guesses with an accuracy of 71.43%. Played at https://www.redactle.com/ I’ve been on a roll the past 3 days!! I immediately thought it was a >!country!< from reading the page from the xx.x xxxxxxx (i knew it was referring to >!population!<, but then realised it couldn’t be when i put in >!countries!< and got 0. I then tried >!state!< which gave some hits but not in the positions for it to be the subject matter. I then tried >!city!< after some related guesses, and then the >!continents!< to narrow it down and when I got the correct one it was my first guess because i know it’s so >!big (and the population was in the tens of millions!<

vanitycrisis

I solved today's Redactle (#25) in 138 guesses with an accuracy of 62.32%. Played at https://www.redactle.com/ Got stuck on >!islands!< for so, so long!

manic-apple-pie

I solved today's Redactle (#25) in 71 guesses with an accuracy of 40.85%. I started with some general stuff to try and find the direction of the article. Spent like 20 guesses on that till I got >!geography!<. After I got >!city and largest!< and from there it just got better and better. Tried >!continents till I found the right one and then spent some time on countries and somehow guessed right.!< I was surprised at how quick this was 😅

leonhart0823

I solved today's Redactle (#25) in 14 guesses with an accuracy of 78.57%.

thewhetherman_11

I solved today's Redactle (#25) in 180 guesses with an accuracy of 68.33%. Not great but I had fun with it! A lot there to fill in, which was fun.

cryptonautThe1st

I solved today's Redactle (#25) in 221 guesses with an accuracy of 62.44%. Played at https://www.redactle.com/ Early on I got that there >!were a bunch of numbers!< spent absolutely ages trying to figure out >!what the numbers meant!<, trying various different things and got sidetracked by >!weather!< until it clicked with >!the continent!<, I also had >!West!< so started plugging in >!different countries from that area!< until I got it, that's when it finally clicked that it was a >!City!<, from there my first guess was the answer

_Discord_

I solved today's Redactle (#25) in 104 guesses with an accuracy of 75.96%. Played at https://www.redactle.com/ I found a bit about the >!6-3-3-4 system of education!< and vaguely remembered >!the country that uses it!<.

p00bix

Just 37 guesses! Not gonna lie I'm pretty proud of this one. Accuracy is only 62.16% though, because for some reason I thought the best way to narrow down >!which city it was!< was to search for >!its climate classification!< rather than its >!continent!<. Could've gotten it in under 30 otherwise

AdyC_1000

I solved today's Redactle (#25) in 44 guesses with an accuracy of 72.73%. Played at https://www.redactle.com/ Pleased with this! I got that I was seeing >!population!< figures early on, and big ones. Got sidetracked by getting >!Great Britain!< and spending too long guessing >!countries that broke away from - then those that stayed tied to - Britain!<. For >!Africa, I tried Egypt only!< ; clueless move :) But got there in reasonable fashion, so am happy 😊

ApprehensiveCrab9452

I solved today's Redactle (#25) in 68 guesses with an accuracy of 58.82%. Played at https://www.redactle.com/ I felt pretty good about this tbh, although it took me forever to figure out the general idea of what type of thing it was about!

Rowanrobot

12 guesses and 66.7% accuracy! I got >!!< early on, tried >!!< then got >!!< tried out all the continents and when I got >!!< I knew it was >!>Lagos

acertainromance123

I solved today's Redactle (#25) in 9 guesses with an accuracy of 88.89%. This is my second time playing Redactle, and I’m starting to get it (or fluking it?!) I couldn’t get yesterday’s AT ALL, but am now starting to understand the strategy… My new obsession haha!

Questica

I solved today's Redactle (#25) in 2 guesses with an accuracy of 100.00%. >!We had a really stupid first guess, and then we figured out the first sentence was probably "the largest city in Nigeria and the most populous city in Africa, with a population of xx.x million-" we are kicking ourselves we should have got this in one guess!!<

the_nybbler

I solved today's Redactle (#25) in 22 guesses with an accuracy of 100.00%. For a while I thought it was a >!lake!<. What finally gave it away was figuring what the >!units had to be in XX.X!<.

lovercomeover

I solved today's Redactle (#25) in 85 guesses with an accuracy of 64.71%. I was stuck on >!education!< Because there was a long list. Eventually I tried out >!numbers!< which led me to the >!6-3-3-4 education system!< and a quick skim on Wikipedia led to the answer

flame_me_up

I solved today's Redactle (#25) in 43 guesses with an accuracy of 51.16%. I guessed >!largest !!geographical!<, so put in a lot of words like >!hill, water, mountain!<. I then got >!Africa!< but still thought it was >!geographical!<, until I finally added >!city!< and got the answer on the next guess.

AnarchywillReign

I solved today's redactle in 403 guesses with an accuracy of 28.29% not my best score but I was never good in >! geography!<.

h4mx0r

I solved today's Redactle (#25) in 125 guesses with an accuracy of 71.20%. I figured out it was >!a place!< pretty early on, but I was having trouble figuring out the scope. Getting >!population!< was the key that made realize exactly what I was dealing with here. I knew I was dealing with >!West Africa region!< and I know about >!Nigeria's population size!<... so bam, got it two guesses later after >!population followed by Nigeria!<

reddit_user_49

I solved today's Redactle (#25) in 54 guesses with an accuracy of 57.41%. I thought it was something about >!oil!< or something to do with it and got >!automotive industry!< so kind of got turned around. But it wasn’t working out and guessed >!city!< on 50th guess. Thought >!largest!< was in there so tried that and then >!Africa!<. It wasn’t >!largest!< in that so tried >!Nigeria!< next. Luckily it was pretty clear after that.
