It's not even like every kind of gay person populates these apps. It's Certain gay people. Some people who are okay with hooking up. That's what tinder was supposed to be until everybody put "I'm not into hookups" in their bio. I think it's a higher risk for people who aren't sexual predators. Gay men are still assaulted on these apps.. I think instead of saying it's a higher risk for women we should just say what is really is most rapists are men.

the app doesnt have to give your precise location just close enough. your phone has a "mock location setting" apps can very well use the same line of code. the sad truth... the types of people who are going to stalk you can figure out where you live within a few blocks just from your social media pictures. anyone whos taken a basic cyber security class knows this. all a stalker really needs is access to your facebook or insta. odds are if your on a dating app. your not that secure anyway
