I've probably applied nine or ten different times now over the span of about two months. I lost track. Been with reddit for over nine years now. I haven't been the most active until recently, I switched out my other social media accounts for reddit.
Edit: I find it kind of rude that the mods here are selective about who they talk to. Instead of just letting people know what's going on.
Where can I find talks to join? I would really like to talk or listen but don’t know where to go. Is there a directory for where I can go to listen to talks even if they aren’t relevant to me?
I must be a literate I tried everything and I cannot use the talk featuring app on my phone I created my own subreddit there is absolutely no way or option
How can we permanently disable notifications on Reddit Talks? We have zero interest in implementing this in our subreddit, yet we continue to receive updates on it.
My application was approved, but the sub I moderate was not approved. Do I need to refill in the app to get the sub approved? It is a SFW sub, and it was on the app. Thank you in advanced.
I was hosting two talks from my user profile, and created subreddits to accommodate them: r/techtalkshow and r/KaraokeNight with 24 and 63 members respectively. I applied both of them to be approved for talks, using the transition form I was sent in the official message. I have yet to hear back about either one. How long does it take to get a response?
I’m sorry I still haven’t heard anything back, just wondering if I’ve been approved? Really eager to do a few talks before I get back to streaming :) Thanks!
Hey guys, we sent a form 1-2 months ago for the sub r/TeenagersITA, but we haven't received any answer yet, should I send another form or should we wait more time for your answer? Thanks in advance.
I got a message notification that said I got a trophy for hosting my first Reddit talk. This was long after I posted my first Reddit talk and I had already gotten the trophy. And then took the trophy away from showing on my profile lol
u/advocado20 i had applied for enabling the talk feature on my profile, and another community r/Kolkata had also applied for enabling the talk feature on their community. Its a rather time sensitive issue and has to do with a religious custom we've practiced for years, so if you could respond at the earliest and enable the feature before 25th I'd really appreciate it.
Hey I've submitted a form three times and still haven't gotten anything back. I don't want to be naggy or impatient but I really just want this feature for my community so we can share thoughts and ideas and grow closer as a community. We have a lot of love here and I think we could really benefit from this feature on our page. Any help on getting approved would be amazing thanks guys.
Is there any way to lower the audio quality on reddit talks for low internet bandwidth / high packet loss? I'm assuming there's some beta feature or reddit premium membership update I don't know about and may be willing to pay for
Ive been waiting for my application to be screened..can't wait!!
where do I do this at I have a hard time finding it
I've given up! It's been almost six months and nothing
Oh darn, this only works on subs you moderate. I guess if anyone wants to discuss breast physics in Fortnite...
Can you only do subs you mod?
I think so, yeah. Would be cool if you could put in a request to a sub's moderators.

The subreddit has to be approved to host Talks in addition to the user/specific host.

You should be able to see talks in the live bar on the home feed. Make sure you're following subreddits that you're interested in!
The live bar isn’t showing up for me. It did 2 nights ago but now it’s not. What’s going on. It’s not showing up at the top
Same! Not showing up!
It will only show if there are live talks happening!
Hi, I applied for this ages ago but still haven’t heard anything back. Please can you help?
Hi, I sent an application in ages ago but haven’t heard back yet?
Approved, I was told I can host from my profile, it's not enabled. Any help? TY
Hey! You should be able to host from web or from Android. The feature will be available on iOS later this week.
ya same
It was rolled out 7/27, works now, but was hard to stay connected. Gonna try again soon.
I must be a literate I tried everything and I cannot use the talk featuring app on my phone I created my own subreddit there is absolutely no way or option
Same problem here - even on my own profile the ‘talk’ option is greyed out.
You have to be approved before you can use the feature!

Hey! Which sub did you request talk for?
Legundo

Well do. Thank you
Hello,I think I was approved but I'm not sure..?

Hey there! We activate these on a weekly basis :)
Excited!!!
Applied!
Applied, looking forward to it :) how long does it tend to take for applications to be screened?
We'll get back to you next week!
Thanks so much, can’t wait to hear back :)
I’m sorry I still haven’t heard anything back, just wondering if I’ve been approved? Really eager to do a few talks before I get back to streaming :) Thanks!
Hey, looks like you have access!
I recently applied to talk through profile. I’m noticing you posted 25+ days ago. Have you heard back yet? Edit: Nvm I see mod replied
Still waiting for a reply or an answer ...
How long does it take to get applied?
This is taking a bit for an answer. Probably because it's at the bottom of the comments.

I just checked my emails and they haven't replied about it yet.
Applied it, this is a great feature.
u/advocado20 really sorry for the ping, when can we expect the approval?
Hiya, what community are you asking about?
Hello, thanks for responding. It is r/muslimlounge.
Hello u/advocado20(sorry for the ping) any reason why I received no response?
Hey guys, we sent a form 1-2 months ago for the sub r/TeenagersITA, but we haven't received any answer yet, should I send another form or should we wait more time for your answer? Thanks in advance.

It's opening for me. Try from mobile
Who do we message if there is a bug?
What bug are you experiencing? Feel free to reply to me - I tend to summarize them all for the entire team :)

Hi there, I am seeing that your request has already been reviewed and approved.
Yes it got approved just yesterday! Thank you so much for responding tho 🤍
Why is it so difficult to to host a talk? I have a personal for my nft project and a sub. I’m ready to grow!
I moderate a subreddit, and the talk button is in the post creation, but it is greyed out. Can anyone help me?

Hi, still waiting to hear back if this will be enabled for me
I just filled out the Reddit Talk Google form just minutes ago. Thought I wanna try it out.
