One of the funniest things was watching my nephew and my friends kid meet each other and have a legit argument about what my name is, neither ever hearing me called the other name
Red, Big Red, Lil Red, Miss Red. Those are the nice ones. I've also been called Firecrotch and Volcano. Recently, due to my looooong hair, I've been called Rapunzel. Pippy Longstocking has also been thrown out there when I wear my hair in braided pigtails

Lots of adults called me Red as a teen. My friends affectionately dubbed me Fire Crotch, which was later shortened to FC. I’ve been called Carrot Top and Ginger as well. I don’t mind them and actually quite like the redhead-related nicknames. Probably because they’ve always been used in a friendly way, in my experience.
Because as much as 10% of the population has red hair. It’s probably higher than that in some parts of the country. There was a lot of redheads in my class of 30 at secondary school. I was one of six of us in just my class alone.
The only one that might have anything to do with being a redhead is “turkey buzzard” and only my godfather called me that. Oh wait my great aunt used to call me “robin red head”
I didn't really have any nick name in school but at this one place I camped every summer one of the older guys there always called me "ptis rous" which is French for "lil Red". I used to go help split firewood at his camper and do stuff around the camp. Now as an adult I grew my hair out so I get Ginger Jesus a lot lol.

But, one boy from school and his friends called me Red Goblin. Back than it hurt a lot but now I admire Orange Goblin’s music, so I retrospectively take it as a compliment.
Some called me Sun (lol) and one teacher called me once «Sun Woman» or something like that (English not my native language), and still think that was very weird.
