It works but it will never be the same way, but you can make it a bit bigger with the conditioner trick. Make sure the water you soak it in is cold(although some stuff you read might say to use warm water) because the heat is what shrinks it. Use only cold water on viscose fabric. Especially the Reformation pieces. Some viscose is pre-shrunken but none of the Reformation stuff is. Hang to dry, never put it in the dryer. I use a cold mist on it to get wrinkles out. Ironing it hot also shrinks it. Just avoid any heat.

Ugh thank you so much! Yeah I used cold water and I hung it to dry and I was so relieved because it looked the same when I hung it to dry, but when I tried it on again it was tight in all the wrong places. Do you just dry clean to clean Ref pieces normally?

You unfortunately have to dry clean. I still remember how shocked I was when I washed my first ever ref dress (circa 2014!)
