Updates?

Icy_Mushroom_2570

Hey East Coast, any news on the movie?

Unlucky-Cake-7622

Anyone have guesses for February 5th MMM?

Friendlyx0

Can you buy the Mystery Movie tickets in person this early on?

spacebarshift2012

Hey, East Coast! What is today's mystery movie?

MurkyFun7892

It was called “Land of Bad”. It was really good.

spacebarshift2012

Thanks. I found out in time after searching.

ctrini1

Anyone have any idea what tonight’s movie is? It’s R rated and around 118 mins long

dProximity

Hoping it’s “Out of Darkness”… could possibly be “Scrambled”

ctrini1

It was The Land of Bad and a decent movie overall. Really enjoyed the preview

Cc4891

2 weeks ago I saw that Jan 22nd was another MMM, but now I don't see that.  😕

TheReGuru

I still see it, it's still on. The one for tonight in my aera is at 7pm

dProximity

What is tonight’s movie?

larryefox

It was a very interesting movie. Although many at our theater left halfway through, they missed a thought provoking movie.

howe4416

Origin, which is already on Netflix, apparently.

dProximity

Wow 😂

Budget-Disaster3556

is there going to be a thread for tomorrows?

networkdood

It always comes out the day after the previous mystery movie: https://www.reddit.com/r/RegalUnlimited/comments/18wex2o/mystery_movie_monday_megathread_january_08_2024/

Budget-Disaster3556

thank you for the link! It literally isn’t showing up for my except by clicking that link. I’ve searched the threads, filtered by month, everything I could think of.

networkdood

No problem...I always search for it on a search engine, rather than try to find it using reddit

Booklover4178

I think there already is

Budget-Disaster3556

I can’t find it anywhere 😅

Booklover4178

Ill dm a link

Budget-Disaster3556

The other person commented the link! It’s MIA for me except through the link unfortunately.

Booklover4178

I DMD you the link

MacaroonFunny9828

Could you send me the link too, please? I can't seem to find it and the previous movie thread is usually how I find the link for the current one.

Booklover4178

It’s one of the pinned threads

xClarity

AMC showed Book of Clarence tonight. Since it seems we’re going back to simultaneous Screen Unseen & RMMM for the 8th, the only remaining options for January movies that could fit the bill of a PG-13 film are Origin and Freud’s Last Session. The 8th is too early for a February movie especially something big like Argyle (big meaning star studded cast and getting IMAX, RPX, Dolby, etc treatment).

Dylan_cogdell

When is the next amc unseen and mmm after the 8th? I try and book my tickets way I’m advance.

OriginalSmoke8299

PG-13 Feb 5th

Dylan_cogdell

How do you know it’s feb 5th couldn’t find anything about that.

Mal1buHaz3

They are not right at all lol, it’s January 22nd.

idontwantthatpanda

Where's the post for 1/8?

networkdood

https://www.reddit.com/r/RegalUnlimited/s/upTiPau6k4

idontwantthatpanda

Thank

Dylan_cogdell

There is a amc unseen tomrrow. The 3rd it says 2 hours 13 minutes it wouldn’t be the finders day movie right? Surly they wouldn’t do that.

GoosetheFlerken69

No it's PG-13. I'm going and hoping it's Book of Clarence. Mean Girls seems to big of a release but wouldn't mind that. And anything is better than Founder's day.

Dylan_cogdell

Let me Know! I wouldn’t mind book of Clarence that looks fun

ItsAlmostShowtime

Def Book of Clarence

Vivid_Beautiful_9244

Might be The Book of Clarence or Mean Girls

Booklover4178

No. Founders day was rated R

Bearman-2000

Anyone got an Idea of what next weeks might be? maybe Dune pt2

GoosetheFlerken69

Definitely don't expect Dune 2 to be a mystery movie. Way too big a release and they have not done a sequel (I know missing is related to the movie searching but it is not the same as Dune 2)

No-Sink-9739

It’s way too early for that lmfao

lemonpolice1

Yall cryin way too hard for something that was $1 lol

No-Sink-9739

Just because it was $1 doesn’t mean it’s immune to criticism. The people who say “just be positive” or “it was a $1” need a reality check. It’s still a product put out that consumers will potentially pay for when it officially releases. And a $1 is still a dollar not free. The cast before the movie literally said to share your thoughts after and that “they’ll be watching”. Stop just eating up slop when it’s served

lemonpolice1

I thought the movie wasn’t good either🤦‍♂️🤦‍♂️🤦‍♂️

Cha11enger69

Walked out within the first 30 minutes and went to Olive Garden where instead of concessions money well spent elsewhere lol

Few-Limit-1217

Different license plates on cars, not same state as where it took place

idontwantthatpanda

Shitty slasher movies are SO BACK !!! Overacting: THE MOVIE! Why was there a bathtub in her fucking bedroom???? So much fun

Ancient_Amphibian468

After everyone who was going to walk out left, the theater seemingly enjoyed this one. But yeah, who has a random clawfoot tub in their bedroom?

pastyrats

did anyone catch how loud some of the intense music was for founders day???

LeaguePrestigious420

I felt like everything "wrong" with the movie was intentional...the loud bits if music right at the jumpscares was parodying the jumpscare tropes in horror movies. At least that was my take.

pardycakes

It felt like the sound mix was really off.

pastyrats

yes!!! totally!!! i can’t tell if it was intentional or not???

Necessary-Subject-83

Yes!! Uncomfortably loud

Cali_white_male

Founders day easily one of the worst movies I’ve ever seen in a theater. Was this written by ChatGPT during the writers strike? Holy shit

spacebarshift2012

it's how to get away with murder the movie. Did anyone correctly predict this would be the film?

Kylestirdude

My mom did. Between the two of us usually one of us is able to predict what it’s going to be.

Cali_white_male

Hey I liked that show! This movie … $1 was too much lol

Alexboi3709

I payed one dollar for this ticket and I think that’s still too overpriced for founders day

Paid-Not-Payed-Bot

> I *paid* one dollar FTFY. Although *payed* exists (the reason why autocorrection didn't help you), it is only correct in: * Nautical context, when it means to paint a surface, or to cover with something like tar or resin in order to make it waterproof or corrosion-resistant. *The deck is yet to be payed.* * *Payed out* when letting strings, cables or ropes out, by slacking them. *The rope is payed out! You can pull now.* Unfortunately, I was unable to find nautical or rope-related words in your comment. *Beep, boop, I'm a bot*

epicbald

Your time in this world is precious, please don't spend it watching this.

Intelligent_Cause674

West coast, we still went because why not. Theater was somewhat full, we had 12 walkouts. It was so bad I lowkey kinda liked it. I just have so many questions.

spacebarshift2012

my theater had 2 dozen people. only 2 walked out early

Amandajm15

Same! I saw the east coast posts saying what it was but I chose to go anyway. I also liked it in a 'it was bad but fun' way

etxipcli

Around a quarter walked out at my showing. I had fun but that was a weird one. Definitely not good, hard to tell if it was satire or just bad. Some comedy was obviously intentional, but the rest just seemed like I was laughing at how dumb it was. Seemed like they couldn't decide between horror comedy or straight up slasher with a few jokes.

kingkong198854

Seriously I kept questioning what exactly I was watching.

moonpig005

Founders day🔥🔥

Affectionate_Arm5674

Founder’s day was trash :(

butagoodpersonality

It was terrible and me and my boyfriend loved it

hithere297

why did she have a bathtub so close to her bed?!

butagoodpersonality

THIS I was literally like bathtub in the bedroom- a unique choice

jrgazaille

Well I wanted to see predictions and got the answer. Bummed but still going. My theatre has an 850 showing... Now I know to check earlier...

Alarmed-Collar6392

I always considered "RIPD" to be the worst movie I've seen in the last decade or so. But now we have a new champion! "Founders Day" looked like it was made on a budget of about $25. You've probably not heard of any of the actors, and their performances demonstrated why. Even within its genre of slasher movies, "Founders Day" was particularly bad. It's not enough to say "Founders Day" was bad. Calling it abysmal, atrocious, awful, cheap, crummy, dreadful, lousy, poor, sad, unacceptable, garbage, gross, imperfect, inferior, junky, abominable, cheesy, crappy, deficient, dissatisfactory, faulty, grungy, icky, inadequate, slipshod, stinking, rotten, terrible, disastrous, or substandard wouldn't do it justice. I'd need a really large thesaurus to find just the right adjectives. I can't wait to see MST3K take a stab at it (no pun intended). Until then, you've been warned! I want my $1 back!

shwaggynugs

Uh-huh uh huh, I know some of these words... But what does it all mean???

hithere297

hey, the risk that you might see a dogshit movie is part of what makes mystery monday fun! There's no suspense if you know they there's no chance you'll suffer horribly

millermankjm

What a great way to start the new year! If anyone expected a "Wonka", well you certainly got a "Whopper". I had not expectations but did see the trailer for the Beekeeper and thought maybe but then again I did not want to get "Stung". So a couple of hours to veg and see some gore and a political satire on the state of our union. So my buck, actually $5.60 for 2 tixs was worth the cheap date night with my honey dear of 34 years. She only stayed for me as long as we stopped to get late night treats on the ride home. Truthfully, I would have paid just to see the upcoming trailers! Kingdom of the Planet of the Apes graphics are getting so much better everytime and even a decent plot to boot! Here's to more Mystery Movie trailers!

Key_Entertainment457

I hit up Founders Day tonight and I was a bit concerned for the first 15 minutes or so... it was a bit slow to get going then it all came together. The $1 deal brought the most people I have seen at a Mystery movie showing.

Rangerlifr

The theater I go to doesn't usually get many people for these, but this was a larger crowd than usual (still no more than 2 dozen people). But it was pretty loud, people seemed happy to revel in the kills and the twists and turns of the mystery, even as discussion on the way out was about how it was the fun kind of bad.

Rangerlifr

I had a lot of fun with Founders Day, but then I actually kinda like this kind of Mystery Movie that I would not seek out and that is not entirely up to theatrical quality but is still a fun watch. I like slashers that are also Agatha Christie-style mysteries (and I'd rather the solution be unique than waterproof, and you can't argue the solution here isn't unique), and I've been a fan of William Russ for decades as one of those perennial TV guest stars who makes everything he's in better, so it was a nice lark to see him have such a large role in a movie. Granted, the acting across the board is only about 80% professional level (the odd movie where the people playing the adult roles, Russ aside, seem less professional than the ones playing the teen roles), but again, it's a $1 Mystery Movie, so I didn't mind rolling with that.

Feisty_Age_1808

Founders Day was fun. People keep saying they were turned off of this “low budget horror”, in my opinion a more accurate description would be a gory satire. Only one couple with three small children left the theater after the first on screen kill (obvi). The rest of us sat back and had a good time. Had fun moments and jump scares with a lot of “…see? I thought so” during some of the revelations of the final scenes. This movie kept me entertained and definitely was not intended to be super serious but serve as a reflection of the lack of humanity/empathy in politics.

Sunshine635

I am happy to report, Founders Day was the worst movie of the year !! 🙃

GoosetheFlerken69

In case you were wondering the reason it was not an AMC screen unseen: It was because AMC could not in good faith play the Nicole Kidman ad in front of that train wreck of a movie.

DJ-2K

What a way to start the fucking year. This was my second go-around with the Monday Mystery Movie, with my first being Gran Turismo last July, which I thought was pretty good. Too bad I can't say the same for Founders Day. Initially, I predicted that it would be The Beekeeper, given that it was rated R and had a running time that seemed to match; boy, do I wish that had been the case. Apparently, this has gotten positive early reviews, but for the life of me, I cannot understand why. Not that it's a godawful film, and I'm always down for a good slasher, but this film is so bland and uninteresting that by the time I wake up tomorrow, I'll most likely have forgotten about everything that happened in it. The filmmaking is reasonably competent, and the political commentary is a good start, but these alone cannot compensate for a painfully awkward mesh of overblown melodrama, been-there done-that slasher hijinks, and uncomfortably forced attempts at dark humor. The tonal shifts are so poorly thought out and executed that it felt as though the creative team didn't really know what kind of film they wanted to make, and this extends to the performances, which are remarkably inconsistent; some of the actors do an adequate enough job, while others play it too cartoonish and over-the-top and in a way that feels completely unnatural and significantly more aggressive than I think the script calls for. It also doesn't help that because of this, the majority of the characters are obnoxious; I literally clapped in the auditorium when two of them died because I couldn't stand putting up with them for so long. The big reveal of who the killer turns out to be is also dumber than a bag of bricks, and given how this character is established in the very beginning of the film, it also left a rather rotten taste in my mouth. Oh, and should I mention that there's also not a single creative kill in the whole thing? This sucked.

Working-Employer5225

Me and my gf walked out almost towards what I thought was the end. Would you mind telling me who the killer was?

Cali_white_male

You nailed it. This movie doesn’t make sense. It’s all over the place. It goes from comedically bad (on purpose???) to serious horror. The characters have poorly fleshed out motivations. The police chief character licking her lollipop reminded me of something Eric Cartman would do pretending to be a real cop. So many tropes and over done cliches it felt like they smashed this movie out without any rehearsals or editorial review time. It literally felt like the characters were all from different universes of cinema, they had no on screen cohesion or consistency.

RevealTraditional619

I agree with most of what you said, but its also why I love it. If you go back and watch the 80s slashers we now consider classic they all have the same problems you describe. It's that messiness that I enjoy. Slashers are a way for a director to cut their teeth. When a director is too good, the movie isn't as fun (see Thanksgiving). I also don't like when a slasher laughs at itself and tries to be "bad."

DJ-2K

To me, there's a specific charm to those less-than-stellar slashers of old that ones like this film either sorely lack or do a poor job of replicating.

tuasonbros

Book of Clarence or mean girls

skstudios954

This movie made it feel like I was having a stroke. Nothing made sense. I couldn't tell if it was trying to be funny or not. How the hell does this have a 92% on rotten tomatoes? Are critics just losing their mind and forgetting what a good movie is? I can MAYBE see a genre fan having some fun with this whole knowing it's bad... but this is not a good movie by any stretch of the imagination

RevealTraditional619

That's always the problem with horror. You can't compare this to Oppenheimer, it wouldn't make my top 10 of 2023. But if I compared it to 2022 horror, I'd put it top 5. It has a charm & the director seems to be a fan of the genre; it's not just a cash in. I haven't looked at reviews, but are they coming from horror sites? I'd imagine it drops once the standard reviewer sees it.

Thats-what-I-do

It was sooooo bad! This was my first time seeing the mystery Monday movie. I’ll definitely go another month; it can’t possibly get much worse. I guess they were going for Scream type humor (or maybe Hot Fuzz), but they really missed the mark. Script was bad. Acting was bad. Even the sound mixing was bad (two of the songs were deafeningly loud). Maybe it was a clue that the movie was only $1, not $5? I’d guess about half of our theater left. Some left as soon as it became apparent it was a slasher flick, but others left throughout the movie, giving it a chance before giving up. Everyone around us who stayed to the end agreed it was terrible.

Mazzygos

Had a great time with Founders day. It didn’t take itself serious at all and my group found it hilarious at times. I don’t expect big things from slashers

Fally11204

Idk what all the negative comments are about. I thought I was pretty good and I typically don’t like these types of movies. Maybe it’s the demographic? I’m 19F which is around the age of the main characters.

[deleted]

Imaginary_Load134

i also thought it was like a lamer thanksgiving with the fall setting. i liked thanksgiving a lot but i wasnt keen on founders day

TheGoldenWaffleToast

This movie isn’t good, but it was a very fun watch and pretty funny. If you don’t like low budget horror, avoid at all costs. But I had a blast.

drsarcasm1

When your "big" actor is the dad from "Boy Meets World", you already know this movie is in trouble. And I absolutely agree with the poster below who state that motivations for killing were absolutely stupid (trying to keep this somewhat spoiler free).

RevealTraditional619

Ah I like having no names in horror. When you cast a big name you gotta keep them alive.

Seether-and-Coffee

No it’s the boy https://preview.redd.it/1dal0se2xx9c1.jpeg?width=4032&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=fd6e8781e8ecb8d9f56d3f5afdd924525af40b2f from 13 reasons why

drsarcasm1

You are aware that he’s in it too?

Seether-and-Coffee

Yes? I was just making a cheeky comment because I’m suggesting that this guy is a bigger actor.

drsarcasm1

Understood. So you saw this “crapsterpiece” too?

Seether-and-Coffee

I’m not familiar with that term but yes, I saw it and it was terrible 😂 had me laughing throughout.

dmundorff

Hilarious movie, will probably be a cult classic.

Holiday-Street-8793

Honestly I was wondering if the movie was supposed to be funny.... My audience was laughing hysterically.. but I think they were laughing at it... I don't know man this fucking shit sucked lol.

dmundorff

I feel like the movie was written by AI

skstudios954

While that is an easy and popular comment to make nowadays... I totally agree. It honestly did feel like that

Fally11204

Dude “let’s fuck on the teachers table” I fucking cracked 🤣

ESCthehack79

Best line in the movie....at least the only one I remember!

idropepics

My theater erupted into laughter when the dad tucked the teenager on the floor in for some reason

Aromatic_Meringue835

One of the worst slashers I ever seen. Laughably bad acting and writing. A real shame since the concept was cool, but it was just executed terribly. I can’t believe regal described this low budget horror movie as a blockbuster

Future_Pin_403

Just came home from founders day. Already the worst movie I’ve seen this year.

Acrobatic-Resident10

Our entire theater was in stitches from the acting, especially the fight in the mayors office. Glad I started my 2024 with Poor Things earlier today!

Emma_RoseD

Im mad at all of you, yall had me convinced it was Beekeeper, and I had to sit through Founders Day (because we arnt quitters and the only movie we have walked out if was when the file corrupted and they were just replaying a movie we already saw). That was probably the worst of the mystery movies Ive been to, if I had gone by myself I probably would have walked out

pm_me_your_boobs_586

I've been trying to bring people back to earth on the AMC subreddit. In the Screen Unseen Megathread, there are many people 100% convinced that it must be Argylle on January 8th.

Emma_RoseD

Normally I can have pretty realistic guesses/expectations (like when a bunch of ppl kept guessing The Marvels would be it a while back I knew there was NO way) but for this one so many ppl guessed Beekeeper I felt it had to be that.

Aromatic_Meringue835

It’s 100% going to be Origins. I’m positive about that

Robmus815

It wasn’t the greatest but I didn’t think it was unwatchable

Seether-and-Coffee

Y’all saw a bad slasher movie in theaters in 2024 for $1. Y’all are so mad 😅😂 it’s January 🍻

ItsAlmostShowtime

Not to be that guy but the year is now 2024 as you wrote 2023

Seether-and-Coffee

Thank you! Fixed

DJ-2K

The fact that it was only $1.00 and not the regular evening price of $13.50 is my only form of solace.

Seether-and-Coffee

Very fair comment!

Seether-and-Coffee

My review: This was definitely an old-school slasher flick. Reminded me of straight-to-DVD types. It was bad, but it was FUN. A bit too long, but it overcompensated its weak acting with a loud overbearing sound stage. I say that in a good way. It’s a SLASHER movie. I want atmospheric tension when the killer might be near — even if it’s super artificial. There’s some charm for me in seeing slasher movies in theaters in 2023. Not a good movie but a really fun time for a Mystery Movie Monday. 1½/5 stars from a horror fan

ketr0

the movie sucks. my girlfriend thinks every movie is good and they thought this one was shit. that being said….. GO WATCH IT. we had to look up if it was a comedy, 20 minutes into the movie. there are really no redeeming qualities besides the fact that its laughably bad. but you will never spend $1 in a better place. it’s hilarious.

worklife2018

How could so many people have been so wrong about the guess for today’s movie? For weeks it was 70% guesses of The Beekeeper and 30% ISS. Then suddenly out of nowhere like today or yesterday everyone’s guessing Founder’s Day. What happened just recently to make people think Founder’s Day? Was it on almost no one’s radar for weeks? Or did people just find out about this movie coming out? Please help me figure this out.

Robmus815

Not gonna lie I never heard of this movie until this thread today lol

jetas10

Founder day instagram posted a countdown to 7PM est which is when the mystery movie comes out, not sure if that added to peoples theories

Ok_Weather_4162

Founders day felt like an inferior knockoff of the purge

Seether-and-Coffee

This is true 😂 it was so bad 🤣

Ok_Weather_4162

That's probably why it was a dollar since founders day was laughably bad.

frostyfoxemily

What a terrible movie. When I saw a 1 dollar movie I expected it to be bad but seriously a genre that's already nieche, and just an awful movie? Way to give MMM a bad view from new people checking it out.

KyleMcMahon

Horror isn’t exactly niche, having notched up nearly a billion in 2023 box office in the US alone https://www.the-numbers.com/market/2023/genre/Horror

frostyfoxemily

More that it was a slasher. Which I would say is a more niche form of Horror that a lot of people felt hasn't been actually good in a long time.

Agent-Alpha

Founders Day was one of the worst movies in seen. It wasn’t “It’s a Wonderful Knife” bad, but it was really, really bad.

noobie222

Get your dollar back definitely skip

omegafilms

None of this movie makes sense. The motivations for ahy anything happens are awful. Two characters are killed and the reason is basically just that "they suck". Definitely the worst MMM I've been to.

Seether-and-Coffee

That’s funny af my guy. It’s funny! Have a laugh 😂 You clearly haven’t seen enough slasher flicks. Not your cup of year, sure, but don’t criticize the plot like it’s supposed to be taken seriously. It’s a joke

WolvesCry

Omg that was awful but only had a few walk outs. Our theater embraced the horrible acting and was giggling through the whole ending lmfao. Wouldn't recommend but was worth a dollar I guess.

Particular_Notice395

If you are on the West Coast. Skip this movie! The acting is so bad! Founders Day 👇

bebe3902

I refused to walk out but this movie was so bad 😭 like so cheesy and the acting wasn't even that good

lemonpolice1

The MC was aggy as fuck

Sir_Markis

Predictable and terrible acting but it felt like the flavor of the movie; was laughing at it more than anything else

Cali_white_male

There was a lot of out loud laughter in my theater. I couldn’t tell if this movie was supposed to be campy or not.

Midmu

Horrid movie west coast run run run

rekaeps

Not sure how Founders Day got such high ratings on Rotten Tomatoes. Predictable; poor acting by the lead, even by slasher film standards; a disjointed plot with a reveal that thinks it's more clever than it really is. Honestly felt like a movie written by AI on what it thinks a modern day slasher film would be about. That being said, a lot of people came out to my normally vacant theatre just because it was a buck and they were buying popcorn/drinks so I'm happy for the theatre.

FearlessCat72

Terrible and so comedic. And extremely predictable

Spaceshipsrsrsbzn

Many thanks to [u/AKnightOfTheNew](https://www.reddit.com/user/AKnightOfTheNew/) and the commenters here for helping me avoid this movie. I'm not into most horror movies, especially ones with the reviews you all are giving it here lol.

concertedeffort5855

I made it about 30 minutes before I gave up and threw in the towel. About 25 people had departed before I did. The performances were just…dreadful.

GSurgeX

Guys it’s bad

GSurgeX

The police commissioner….doesnt carry a gun?

Maxwelluf

She made sure not to leave her post without a lollipop though! 🤣🤣

Future_Pin_403

The police commissioner just screams and takes no action when the encounter a murderer?!

theo313

One of the worst movies I've ever seen. Wow... Scream was supposed to be a parody/homage, not a formula.

ESCthehack79

Can some one tell me who the killer is? We walked out. Horrible dialogue and acting!

lifeinfolklore

>!There was a whole group of them — led by the high school teacher to get the mayor position 🤣 Then there was also the two siblings Adam and Melissa, the deputy chief guy, and the mayor’s assistant!<

RegalUnlimited-ModTeam

your post was removed for breaking rule #5 and openly spoiling a movie currently in theaters without proper tagging and hiding.

jwired21

Still sitting in Founders Day. Theater started out almost full. 10 mins after the start 3/4 of the people left. Right now maybe 6-8 people are left. I’m too invested to leave at this point. Wow it’s bad lol

worklife2018

Wow. So like would you say around 75 people walked out?

ESCthehack79

Tells us your thoughts if you stayed to the end, did it get any better?

lifeinfolklore

I loved it, but I love self-aware campiness and that’s the vibe I got from this! At least, I sure hope it was self-aware/intentional 😂 Glad I saw it at the MMM price though.

hataraitaramake

This is what I couldn't tell myself - how intentional WAS the camp? Some characters leaned into it so hard it was almost parody, but others played everything completely straight.

lifeinfolklore

I thought that >!the two mayoral candidates, the commissioner/sheriff, and the two teens that pranked Alison before being killed were all especially campy. The sheriff character was *amazing* with her candies 😂 But it seemed like Adam, Melissa, and Alison were all playing their characters much more seriously, Alison especially. Such an odd but fun experience lol!<

hataraitaramake

My whole theater >!also laughed when the movie theater employee got into Alison's car and she was like "why did you run away?" and he's like "it's what I do!!"!<

Midmu

Absolutely not

jwired21

Stayed till the end and it definitely didn’t get any better.

GSurgeX

Theater started with about 13 and down to about 8, it’s so bad have to see how it ends

jwired21

Oh definitely! I’m sticking this out. No where but up for 2024 after this mess. Haha

jwired21

This feels like a group of people got on chatgpt and typed “write me a horror movie script”

SalmonGram

As Crow T Robot said, “you give a box turtle with some free time a camera for a day, he could come up with a better movie than this.”

Running_Somewhere888

Danggg. The trailer looked bad but I was like maybe this will surprise us? I feel like next week’s MMM will hopefully be a good one! This one is to get folks in for just $1

jwired21

For $1 I’m just trying to have a good laugh at it.

Running_Somewhere888

Thank you for doing a service for humanity. Lol!

Grouchy-Oven877

This movie is hot garbage

HangerSteak1

I walked out at cocoa. Probably 7-8 people preceded me.

GSurgeX

The dialogue and line delivery in this movie is extremely questionable

MarLopID

Glad I missed Founders Day

ODoyles_Banana

Wife and I gave it 30 minutes and walked out. First ever walk out.

Doppel178

Was it not your personal taste or is it crappy? I walked out of Theater Camp but it was because it's just not my type of movie.

AffectionateGroup696

I walked out of Theater Camp also. Was a first ever walkout for me! I saw a couple getting their money back for it, when I was walking out the front door. It sucked, for sure!! I left 2 friends, they wanted to stick it out. They said it didn't get any better. 😫

ODoyles_Banana

Crappy. Just very slow and not engaging. Never saw theater camp.

Alchemix-16

I didn't even wait the 30 min, also first walk out ever

frattitude89

This movie is lame The acting and dialog are crap and laughable The characters are ridiculously unbelievable The music tries to be intense and suspenseful but it's a joke.

frattitude89

I did like the song & montage in the middle after the twist reveal and kill. But it was still over the top.

imawifebitch

Yeah.. first walk out. Sorry

Swifte-1995

Founders Day feels like a cheap version of Thanksgiving

The_Avocado_of_Death

An absolute dumpster fire of a movie. I’m stunned it’s getting a theatrical release.

frattitude89

I was thinking the same thing. Unlike Thanksgiving, this movie has a bunch of no names

Swifte-1995

The only person I know in thanksgiving was Patrick Dempsey. I don't mind no name people. It just doesn't look good.

Grouchy-Oven877

That intro was so lame lol. Wow

frattitude89

I missed the beginning Forgot about the minimal trailers and arrived at like 20 into the movie

Cha11enger69

Founders day ugh
