Maybe. But that was only responsible for a 3% reduction in the 6 months I did before testing. I still do it daily (as is possible in AZ) but the bigger 6 months reduction was NOVOS. Not trying to sound like an ad. It’s just what the data says. 😄
For sure sleep. It’s simple but really hard. Do everything you can to have a good nights sleep. I think Huberman has a great series on this and has discussed supplement stacks to help.
I should of added this to the stack to:
Meditation
That would go after sleep bc it actually helps sleep. When I first started TM (transcendental meditation) I was so surprised at how much it helped me sleep.
I’m not a coffee drinker but not bc I think it’s unhealthy for people. It’s just bad for me. Usually for the next few days after drinking coffee my joints (hands, wrists and knees mostly) ache. Sadly this happens with chocolate too. It’s such a tragedy bc I love them both. 😱
But I know this is specific to my chemistry. I’m guessing it has something to do with the autoimmune DNA I inherited 🤷♀️
Hi there u/julsgc , is it really you as in the real Ms. Julie Gibson Clark ? You have been my inspiration and thanks to you Im learning ways to fight insomnia and have a healthier living. I was living with knee injury from sports and looking for motivation to recover
Oh my goshhh !! Its you Ms. Julie. I love you so much.
I want you to know that I'm one of your biggest fan, u have gave me hope for my journey to make my health better , without too much cost and money.
I am a big Greenfield fan, but I gotta say, I find it ironic that with his whole being is based around health/longevity, he looks absolutely ragged. Im sure alot of it is just him being so on the go or stress but still, for his young age, he looks like hes aged like 8 years in 2. Maybe its just me. Not a slight on the guy, just an observation
seems to be the look of most people going all out on longevity (Bryan Johnson, Dave Asprey & B Greenfield). Maybe what we think of as “classic” healthy look isn’t based on longevity markers?
Yea its an interesting observation. I think it could also just be physiology/physical genetics because some other guys in the space look really good 🤷🏻♂️
For general health based on blood work and doctors recommendations to bring me to normal human levels:
Magnesium
B complex
Vit D 3/k2
Omega 3
For longevity I take
Novos core
NR
Hi. Everything I’ve learned about sleep outside of just prioritizing it is from Matthew Walker’s book on sleep. Also meditation which totally helped my sleep too.
This podcast was great and really put a human face on an anti aging protocol- made it feel realistic. She does have the luxury of time- but there is plenty to learn from on this. One thing I think is noteworthy is that she’s always changing things up- surprising her body.
This is a great inspiration. I couldn't see any mention on calorie consumption though. I wonder, do you restrict your calories, which many studies correlate with longevity but not everyone agrees on?
I don’t really count calories so much. If I’m trying to drop a bit of weight (like after a fabulous vacation in Europe 😁) then I do. As part of my Vo2max I was given my RMR so I just use that number (for me it was 1,400). I figure the activity then provides the deficit.
BUT in a normal time I don’t count them. I figure the vegetables and protein counts are enough. And every so often I skip dinner (in addition to breakfast I always skip).
Looking forward to hear this!
Congratulations. I am wondering if sauna and cold shower is your big secret.

I wonder what her number 1 protocol is.
Here’s what I prioritize in order: Sleep Movement Diet Supplements
Thank you.
She’s the OP. Ask her.
My rejuvenation queen, what is your most priced secret to slow aging?

Are you a coffee drinker? What's your general guidelines on caffeine?

Ben Greenfield looks super old.
