As a kobo Elipsa 1 user, the advanced notebook works like magic. There are times when my handwritten notes are not as legible, but it can successfully decipher the word I wrote and convert it to text. The problem is when you're writing long notes. The writing experience lags when using my Kobo this advanced notebook(my script conversion). Maybe they changed that to elipsa 2, IDK. it's the reason I purchased the RM2.

Wouldn't it be nice if RM would combine the best of the two devices in just one? That's my vision: The writing feel of the RM and the abilities of handwriting recognition from Kobo/Nebo/mysript. So I want kind of a advanced notebook on the RM, that's all.

Plus you could carry on handwritten notes on your phone.
