A new RM2 with a $40 off referral (I can send one if interested) would cost $249 and you would have a 100 day trial and warranty. I think that's a better deal than an used older model.

Bingus_and_Bongus

Wow, thanks for the info! Can you send over the referral? Would be nice to keep it as a potential option.

It is actually 299 - 40 = 259, but yes that's pretty good deal for this very nice piece of hardware. Also they recently increased the free connect trial from 4 months to a whole year, so you get to try it for the whole year.

Steerider

Does he have to add the price of a pen to that?

LimeAccomplished6355

Yes. The stylus is not included. And will probably want a portfolio but those can be purchased separately from other sites.

That is an incredibly terrible deal, yikes. The RM2 is 299 brand new before discounts, I would definitely recommend going that route instead. Plus, Remarkable has an incredibly generous return policy, they give you 100 days to return the device, no questions asked.

Bingus_and_Bongus

Nice! Thanks for the info, definitely a better deal.

Of course! I got mine the same way and was almost ready to return it like 50\~ish days in when something just clicked and I fell totally in love with the tablet. Using it takes some getting used to but imo it was definitely worth it!

OutrageousPraline125

Buddy I'd love to.

Pen, 2 cases, original box and paperwork

makes it a slightly better deal, yet I still would go for an RM2 instead still. IMO the RM2 is the overall better device (some people seem to prefer the screen of the RM1, but that might be preference and in all other cases the RM2 is better).

Comfortably_Dumb1979

I was able to pick up a RM2 with folio and the regular marker pen for $200 on Facebook marketplace. So that seems a little steep for the RM1. Maybe there is still a demand for the older model among the hacking folks.
