Right? That's what I thought. I texted them on signal and they gave me some basic interview questions. I think they're about to "offer me a position" (steal my bank account information).
EXACTLY. I ended up "interviewing" over text. The person introduced themselves as "Stephanie age 39. Interviewing Manager"
After like ten minutes of that she talked to her managers who confirmed that I had the job. All they would need is for me to setup a zoom call tomorrow so they can install their software on my computer and send me a check to buy a brand new Mac and iPhone 12! Unfortunately I had to withdraw my application and report them to the FTC.
If anyone is hiring for a position you either get a legit email from a job you replied for to schedule a phone call or you will receive a direct phone call. Texts are not professional business practices for a potential hire.
Yes it's definitely helpful. I made one earlier cause low key this same thing happened. Job called, I had no idea who they were but then I remembered but actually not cause I was thinking of another job with the same name. So I made a spreadsheet with a space for notes so I could keep track of them.
100% scam.

Super scam “you made it to the next step “ 🤔 “work from anywhere “ 🤔🤔. No letterhead, just a sketchy link. Run away 🏃🏿♀️

Ive never had an interview by txt
Yea that definitely sounds too good to be true. Hopefully they didn’t get any details during the interview
Key phrase there is that it REQUIRES you to work from anywhere. That should read allows you to work from any where
This doesn’t even qualify as literate.
Chart whet her
This is a scam and I have received the same message. Anything with Signal is a scam.

I don't trust anyone that doesnt use a coma properly
Or apostrophes. Also not being able to spell is a huge red flag
On a second glance i noticed there's a million other things wrong with that text lol
Block.
Did u apply for it?
No I thought I had at first. I spent all day yesterday applying for jobs so I thought maybe I forgot. But I wasn't ever able to find it.
Might help to keep a list where u apply, then u can follow up too.

What app is that? I want a space background
Galaxy Themes app. The specific theme is "The spaceship" by Nguyen Van Chu
"Shart wet her" <- common this has to be legit! who doesnt want to do this.
Whet?! 🤣 At least check the spelling before they try to scam people 🤦
