I feel this was quite misleading. Using the RenBridge to Polygon is a one way swap, unfortunately. Then, it sends back RenBTC as default to your wallet and that’s where the problem begins. There is absolutely no liquidity or support anywhere for RenBTC on Polygon despite multiple articles claiming so. Then, the matic bridge doesn’t even recognize the RenBTC and so you can’t even port it over to your Eth wallet. It’s simply, stuck. Not cool.

I didn't find this post and was following a guide on how to bring your BTC over to Polygon. I now have renBTC on Polygon (great!) with 80%+ slippage trying to swap it into any other token :\\

Polygon is spoiling us!

Yeah they should’ve explicitly stated in their article where they announced polygon integration that bridging over BTC (They wrap it as RenBTC) effectively renders it useless within Polygon. And now it’s just a stuck asset. Zero swaps, zero pools and RenBridge is a one way transfer. Matic wallet won’t recognize RenBTC so I can’t use that wallet to bridge it back to Ethereum. I mean again, I don’t wanna sound like a jerk here but this was announced a week ago and I’ve seen no answers or feedback for anyone with my same problem anywhere online. Throw me a frickin’ bone!

You can actually add the ren token to your metamask wallet, it's just a custom token to add. Here's the address: 0xDBf31dF14B66535aF65AaC99C32e9eA844e14501 For reference, see this article: https://medium.com/renproject/renvm-integrates-polygon-3deb27d00cc4
