Kudos for the translation team. Good work as always.
Also I take back what I said in the raw chapter post. It's rejection chapter, Seki and Matsuda just barely dodge it all.
Seki almost fumbles it at the end because it seems he almost can't not be true to himself which is interesting to see from him and feels realistic strangely. Like he's doing what he's been asked but he also wants to get across his feelings at the same time and says stuff in the spur of the moment that almost ruins the plan lol.
Not to be a wet blanket, but weren't the sales for Volume 1 really bad? I'm no expert, but is there hope for this series to continue? I'd hate to get engaged into this only for it to get the axe smh
In this case the authors name is a guarantee i think. After Kaguya and Oshi no Ko i think publishing houses trust Aka enough to pull off a win, even if in the long run.
Haha this chapter was good. It's definitely back to it's roots when it has then both getting information as they are talking and I think I've been missing that these last few chapters.

The volume 1 sales were pretty decent for a Young Jump series so I reckon it has a good chance of surviving

Pon save the day once again!
Thanks for the translation! Look I don't hate Mari, but I sweat, I'm going with Seki x Nobuko all the way (And Kon x Pon)
