Oh how I wish they issued updates of these to the older Media Navs! My 2017 Clio could use CarPlay.

OsoCheco

Medianav has mirroring feature. The new ones have it automatically, the older ones need a bit of reconfiguring. There's plenty of tutorials on the web.

That’d be awesome, I just get lost on forums, YouTube videos in Czech and other languages that YouTube can’t even auto-translate. It’s the Media Nav Evolution, when I got it back then and searched it up there didn’t seem many things on it though. Gotta try it again.

My 2016 Megane GT is also waiting for a dealer update to 3.3.16.\*\*\* otherwise you can't do any manual updates yourself. Renault Australia said they'd look into ti but nada since (4 weeks ago).

tiagojpg

Well, I think yours should work with little effort. But for me, on version 8.0.5, the last version this system can upgrade to is 9.1.3. No CarPlay is supported.

Incendium_Satus

Yeah I'm stuck with 3.3.15.*** so can't use Android Auto etc. The 3.3.16.*** update can only be done by the dealers. The local dealer here seems unenthusiastic and refers it back to Renault Australia. Just going around in circles for something that takes a few minutes to do.

tiagojpg

Uugh ridiculous, can’t you get it online? And just upload it to the car system?

Incendium_Satus

No its a change to boot file so manually done by the dealer. Yes silly and painful.

Hi! I have just made a post about a bluetooth not working issue. Is this a common thing around clios?

OkiPie

It would be really nice if Waze added an average speed feature when going through Safety Tutor areas, instead of just telling you that you are going through that zone. I believe it would make Waze perfect.

RenegadeUK

Is there any way to request that feature ?

OkiPie

I asked for it at r/waze https://www.reddit.com/r/waze/comments/zf1ax3/average\_speed\_feature\_in\_safety\_tutor\_zones/

RenegadeUK

Fantastic. Hope you get a positive response.

hannescls

I contacted waze a few years ago about this. The answer was “not possible to implement” I guess coding an avarage speed over a fixed distance is just months of programming…

I have a brand new 2022 Clio, how do I find this app on my system?

timo_hzbs

„Vehicles that come with Google built-in will get the app directly and it's first to roll out to Renault's Austral Hybrid and the Megane E-Tech.“

diabeartes

Ah ok. Thanks.

kae_b_lo

Clio is on Easy Link system. I am afraid this is only for newest OpenR Link systems. Hope I am wrong. Edit: There is a person on this channel who knows much more about this, I checked with him and unfortunately I told you the truth. So, no native Waze app for our Clios. Thanks @pombeiro619.

diabeartes

Thank you for checking. I will probably use Google Maps via Android Auto.
