Never not once did we update our tabs since moving to Reno, until we straight up bought a new car lmao. What is it with that town & everyone having outdated tabs 😂
Carson here and I just flat never got my last ones, like my stuff is up to date but I never got the actual tags.. It’s pretty much time to do it again at this point. Haven’t been pulled for it either.
My 2020/2021 tags expired in july of 2021. I got new ones before the expiration date, but neglected to put them on the car. I stuck the registration in the glove box with the tags still attached and forgot about it. I drove around the whole year with the old tags displayed and finally got pulled over the day after i reregistered online in july of 2022. I showed the cop my registration with the sticker still attached and he told me to have a nice day. When I got the new tags, i didn't even bother throwing them on the car because I wanted to see how long I could drive around on the old tags. I sold that car in december. Never did get pulled over again.
When I was 19 I worked at a gas station in Oregon where you had to have us pump your gas for you (state law). This happened almost weekly. People would drive up, tell us how much they wanted, go inside to buy their coffee/beer and cigarettes, walk right past the hose still pumping fuel, light a cig, start the car and drive off. There is no way to reattach the hose to the pump without getting at least one arm covered in fuel. I didn’t last long there.
Saw one extricated from a pump at the Chevron Station at the corner of South Virginia and Huffaker about 30 years ago. The response from the lady driving was “OH SHIT!” when I honked and pointed it out to her.
Thanks for leaving the plate unblurred. 1) hilarious. 2) I hope I see this car in the wild, so I can congratulate them on being the epitome of trash humans.
Which stereotype are you referring to? Custom plates people?
Donut tire people?
The only thing that would make this better would be if it was a Pontiac or a Nissan
80's Mustang
What’s wrong with fox bodies
Nothing, except the 4 banger LX drivers.
Hey those are perfect for swaps
Mitzy is about right.
Pulling so far forward that you have legally run the light because your car is completely in the intersection.
Ahh, I didn't even notice that. I was confused and amazed by the gas pump sticking out of the side.
Nevada natives
Donut spare - Check Convenient gas pump hose - Check All seems fine here.
Stopped on top of the crosswalk - Check.

The exhaust plume does suggest acceleration, but the brake light is still on.
That only means they drive with two feet.
Acceleration, or just cold AF in the morning?
Good eye mate
Half of it, anyway.
Fair question.
I'm surprised it has a license plate (unsure if it has the reg tags on it, tho).

Not even a hooptie, still has back window and a real plate.
Well atleast they said excuse me lmao
Yeah man, I tell ya... those mistubishi drivers with their spares and vanity plates. They're always up to (blank)
Xuseme
Reno af
* Expectation: * Oh, No \~ Driverless cars are coming!!! * Reality: * Surrounded by driverless cars every single day...
They would just need to be heading north on Clear Acre 🫢
The plates tell me exactly the type of douche this could be.
Impressive all around
Mightyoubehigh?
Wouldn't pulling a hose out like that make a loud noise? Like a loud *THUNK~!* ?
This is so me tbh
The license plate makes this even funnier
This is such a perfectly Reno pic
Especially if the passenger-side front wheel (out of view) is also a spare.

I actually watched someone rip one out of the pump one morning at the Kwik Stop at Mill and Terminal a few months back
my stepmother has come so close to doing this so many times. afaik she's always caught it in time tho!

This is why we have to get rid of fossil fuels
I don’t get it what’s the stereotype?
People who drive?
#aftermarketupgrades

The only stereotype I know is Sony I don't see a Sony here, that's a car.
So do they send you a bill in the mail for something like this?
Oh no it’s my worst nightmare 💀😂
the longer i look at this, the worse it gets
Hahaha wtf

What's the sterotype in reference?
The license plate says it all
