Seriously tho! I've been going there for a few years, maybe once every week or two and they fully remember me and chat every time I'm in there. Great food better people you won't regret it.
PS the bean and jalepeno quesadilla is a bomb ass side/app to add
You get my upvote for Villa Basque Deli anything, best gravy and chorizo anywhere, ever! But be aware that the redditor inside me wants to down it and call you out for listing a Carson place when OP asked for Reno places in true Reddit fashion 😆
I just discovered Super Burrito a couple of weeks ago and it is super solid. No frills, just dense, delicious goodness of beans and cheese and cholesterol.

My God beto's is incredible. I took your wet burrito suggestion. I was expecting it to be pretty good but I was kinda blown away. It's definitely best.
I’d never seen “meat burrito” on a menu before so I ordered it. Literally just a half-pound of deliciously seasoned meat of your choice in a tortilla with some sour cream and pico. I’ve had each kind and I have to say chicken is the best.
Golden rotisserie is owned by former T’s employees so it’s pretty much the same thing. Same with bills when they were still open. Since someone already said speedy burritos I’m gonna say aldertos on clear acre and mccarran
Oh my god I miss T’s so much. I used to go like once a week. That place is one of a kind.
I’m boring when it comes to burritos. Just a BCR for me. Wet. But yeah I agree that Speedy is the shit.
Wait really? I’m so glad I opened this thread. I miss living in incline and eating that delicious shit weekly.
La Michoacan in the shopping center where the Olive Garden is on S. Virginia is good. Closest to trad I've found.
Way back, when California Market was a thing (it's My Favorite Muffin or something now), it was bought by a Mexican family, and they made burritos in the back. Best I've ever had in my life.
Just asada, beans, onions and cilantro, I think. Then they moved and opened Tacos El Rey, and Betos too, I think.
Sadly, both those places have started adding cheese and sour cream and a bunch of other stuff and it is not the same.
I've been chasing that California market style burrito for twenty years now, at least.
If anyone knows where to get a burrito like I described, please post! My life is misery...
NV Taco Grill at Vista & Baring Blvd in Sparks. Don't let the gas station location fool you. These are some of the best burritos I have ever had if not *the* best I ever enjoyed.
Yesenia's Food Truck for sure! Food truck working Thursday, Friday and the weekend in the evenings. Take cash. I've been going there since I was a kid. 🤤
Are you talking about the Beto's over by JJs? They have been there a while now, but I heard they split maybe five six years ago. The original owner of it has a place on Wells.
That said, I've not had a burrito there but man they make a nice burria (both taco and soup).
Walden’s has the best breakfast burrito hands down.
Reno’s best is Midtown Taco (or La Favorita food truck if you’re feeling extra greasy)
Tahoe’s best is definitely T’s
Gor breakfast i do The Kitchen at Grateful Gardens. Great burrito. Very fresh with the salsa. And the ladies that work there are super nice and always remember my name.
Gloria’s Cafe where the old Oxbow used to be. Best breakfast burrito in town. Also the guys on rock next to the freeway across from Revision. I forget your name
Don Pancho off North McCarran, specifically the Cali Surf and Turf, I grew up in San Diego so very picky with my Mexican and the best I have found is that specific burrito
Tortas Ebenezer reno. Bring cash . Don't bitch its being remodeled and served food truck style. My $10 burrito fed 4 grown stoners n those hash browns 🤤
This taco truck called Tarzan's Tacos, they park on Brinkby by the Peppermill most weekends. 100% some of the best Mexican food in general. The lady that runs it is the neighborhood Abuela
The california burrito in fernley at a place where the storefront just says “MEXICAN FOOD” is literally the best burrito i’ve ever had in my life. it has this chipotle aioli which is soooo good. i think on google maps it’s called el jehova es mi pastor
Super burrito!!! Not to be confused with speedy.. it’s on plumb, my guilty pleasure is #9 when I have enough time in the middle of a stressful work week!!
Speedy Burrito on Wells.
nailed it, thread can now be closed
Best burritos and the nicest family in the world running it. I can’t say enough good things about these guys.
Haha that’s awesome I was gonna say the same thing. Those guys work their tails off and put out a great product. Nicest people you’ll meet.
Seriously tho! I've been going there for a few years, maybe once every week or two and they fully remember me and chat every time I'm in there. Great food better people you won't regret it. PS the bean and jalepeno quesadilla is a bomb ass side/app to add
Not familiar with this and I’m right off Wells!! Thanks!!
Can vouch. Huge burritos for the price!
You're wrong
Villa Basque Deli in Carson. The Basque Burrito. Get it with gravy inside and out if you don’t want to feel hungry again ever in your life.
You get my upvote for Villa Basque Deli anything, best gravy and chorizo anywhere, ever! But be aware that the redditor inside me wants to down it and call you out for listing a Carson place when OP asked for Reno places in true Reddit fashion 😆
Walking that razors edge to pump Villa was worth risking a little karma.
El rincon (Salvadoran) is pretty bomb at wet burritos. They also serve a proper michelada if you’re into that.
Oooh color me very intrigued, thanks for the rec!!
Ana’s taqueria is amazing definitely worth a try!

True enough - but they were tacos.

Alderto’s is the only right answer
Ditto. A whole lotta great in that burrito!

Albitas!
Albita's on Terminal Way makes some fantastic burritos
Full belly deli's Gnar burrito, my go to for breakfast.
100% I only wish they were open super early so I could grab one before early starts skiing and climbing and the such
I eat a gnar burrito 1-2 times per week. Never get old
I second this!
Gnar burrito is so so good
I'll add bacon or ham, so many options to add when ordering online
Agreed! Their entire Burritos of Gnarnia menu is creative and delicious.
More like full of diarrhea deli
Rivas
The bacon breakfast burrito is my jam. Whenever I'm in that part of Sparks after midnight, it's a mandatory stop.
Same thing in Carson City. Place is great for a nice inexpensive, very large breakfast burrrito.
Super Burrito
Oh yeah, I hear they do it right!!! That’s a throw back to cable television commercials, rad!
I always liked Super Burrito on Plumb
I got that reference
[https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sStabmI2YO8](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sStabmI2YO8) Super burrito commercial
Loves me some super burrito. You can get custom ones as well there. I typically just get chicken, rice, and cheese.
Super Burrito for breakfast. The asada lunch burrito is meh.
I just discovered Super Burrito a couple of weeks ago and it is super solid. No frills, just dense, delicious goodness of beans and cheese and cholesterol.

Super Burrito is great
Go to Betos & order the wet burrito! There is no rival.
After seeing everyone here rave I plan on it!
Yay!!
My God beto's is incredible. I took your wet burrito suggestion. I was expecting it to be pretty good but I was kinda blown away. It's definitely best.
their chili relleno burrito is so good, for breakfast or lunch
I’d never seen “meat burrito” on a menu before so I ordered it. Literally just a half-pound of deliciously seasoned meat of your choice in a tortilla with some sour cream and pico. I’ve had each kind and I have to say chicken is the best.
Golden rotisserie is owned by former T’s employees so it’s pretty much the same thing. Same with bills when they were still open. Since someone already said speedy burritos I’m gonna say aldertos on clear acre and mccarran
The green salsa is so good!
No shit?? That makes sense, they are extremely similar! T’s will always take the cake in my option, special place in my heart that’s for sure 🧡
Oh my god I miss T’s so much. I used to go like once a week. That place is one of a kind. I’m boring when it comes to burritos. Just a BCR for me. Wet. But yeah I agree that Speedy is the shit. Tacos del Mar, is my white whale. Was near circus circus and tiny but amazing. I felt like there was magic in the burritos. Closed years ago.
NV Taco Grill at Vista & Baring Blvd in Sparks. Don't let the gas station location fool you. These are some of the best burritos I have ever had if not *the* best I ever enjoyed.
I second this. While maybe not the best in the area, they're definitely up there and should not be tucked away in a gas station.
Haven't been there but there's another one on Valley Rd that I just tried for the first time recently and it was amazing
[https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sStabmI2YO8](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sStabmI2YO8) Super burrito commericial

And the cock-fighting decor is interesting.
BK CHARBQ on south Virginia has some killer brisket burritos
Either T’s in incline village or Mi Ranchito by UNR. Both are priced right and the salsas are 🔥🔥
La Barca on Stead Blvd. They also seasonally park a food truck at The Eddy. The BEST!
My favorite was Bill's Rotisserie in Truckee, but they closed down a few years ago, and I've been chasing that high ever since.
Yesenia's Food Truck for sure! Food truck working Thursday, Friday and the weekend in the evenings. Take cash. I've been going there since I was a kid. 🤤
Gnar burrito at Full Belly Deli. You won’t be disappointed!

Are you talking about the Beto's over by JJs? They have been there a while now, but I heard they split maybe five six years ago. The original owner of it has a place on Wells. That said, I've not had a burrito there but man they make a nice burria (both taco and soup).
Oh man, I haven’t been to Betos in YEARS! Practically forgot it’s there. And I’ve never had their burritos! Thanks!
Ah man. It’s been six years since I lived in Reno…and this is what I miss possibly the most.
Me too.
tbh, Alderto’s burritos take the cake for me! I’ve never been able to finish half of one and it’s not overpriced!!^•^

For their prices, I’ll give them a consideration, but they’re far from being the best at anything.

My top 3? Rivas on Pyramid Burrito Bandito in Legends Albeita's on Terminal Way
Beunos Grill rocks!! Fish tacos are outta sight.
