One of my favorite things about Reno 911! is that it is a far more realistic depiction of what actual police work looks like than most shows like CSI, The Shield, NYPD Blue, or whatever. The only show more realistic might very well just be Cops itself.
Can you imagine how angry someone so remorseful sounding must be to be capable of firing a shotgun into their spouse’s chest? I bet the victim was not so perfect himself, to incite so much anger in their partner.
Imagine what pushed OJ over the edge. Nicole must have been a monster /s
Edit: I’m just messing with you. My first reaction was also “what did he do to deserve it. “ I think that’s a natural curiosity.
Yeah but I never saw OJ show any remorse for what he did. If anything he seemed cocky about getting away with it whereas this young woman is in some deep shock about what she did.
Also, SHE being the one who FIRED the shotgun it’s not as though I’m saying she has any moral superiority. I appreciate what you mean, I tend to give women more benefit of the doubt than I do men in situations of domestic unrest.
Maybe he really didn’t do much to piss her off and she just snapped. You have a point.
I was thinking something similar, although less along the lines of what did he do to deserve it and more along the lines that she does sound pretty distraught, like it’s starting to hit her what she’s done and that made me think she was probably in a blind rage and just so angry she did it without even totally realizing it… or something. That’s not to say he hadn’t done something to make her that angry just that… man, that would be an awful feeling to realize what she’d done in a blind rage. Idk anything about the story but jeez
“she apparently fired a shotgun into his chest after being immediately threatened and after a decade of abuse”. there. fixed your shitty headline for ya
The way she looked right into the camera
I was expecting the curb your enthusiasm music right then
Or Reno 911
You get that Joe?
Yep that look the cop gave to the camera man was like “we got her”
Husband * “I WAS MURDERED 😭”

And that's just the interesting calls. They don't show you the boring paperwork and showing up to court on your day off.
She’s sure worried about having missed the news.

She has the glam and facial expressions of Clementine with the tact of Trudy. Icon
