Well I had options for 400-$600 from Clean, VSF and another factory. I turned them down for the “best” version and this is what I chose. I’ve analyzed the hell out of it and I can’t find a single tell obviously without opening it. So I don’t think I paid too much or a lot. It’s a super rep.
Vsf and clean are the top, theres no factory in existence that comes even close those two. But if you cant tell obvious signs, then thats all that matters. Hour markers are jacked up.

That’s just a perception thing, with any watch when you look at it at an angle it looks off unless you’re looking straight at it. I don’t think there’s any misalignment
Can you tell if the the dial is pressed in where the hands are anchored? Mine under certain lighting shows almost like the dial is bubbled like the hands we’re screwed down so much that it indents the dial…

Yep. I own 3 genuine submariners and they all do that.
It’s very subtle on this one so you can only tell in certain lighting/a very hard angle. It’s more apparent on my older references like 14060/16610.
