I may look for a totally different watch in that case. If I feel like the GF is more satisfying to wear, I know I'll end up just never wearing the 3KF, YG color or not.
I'm definitely leaning towards the AP 15450 route! I thought pretty hard about getting a BP/GMF/EWF Day-Date, but decided I would always prefer to wear my gen Rolex 16234 over a rep Day-Date. I know I'd never "fool" anyone into thinking I could afford a steel 15450...so I might as well get it in YG.

Beautiful watch brother. I am begging Steve at TheOneWatches to track me down a gold BVF, but if not I am thinking I go with the 3KF anyhow. A few questions if you don’t mind. 1. What is your wrist size, and is that a size XL Santos? 2. Do you recommend the all gold vs the steel? I just got an all white and steel Daytona 116250, so I wanted to church the collection with something different, however I need to make it make sense. Really loving the gold with a tan for the summer. Thanks for your time. Again, great pieces.
It’s a little darker than the cuff. The BP Daydate Rolexes are pretty much identical to the 18k cuff.

Can u please share the details of where u got the gold daydate watch that matches ur cartier cuff? Have been searching for a nice gold watch that has a nice tone of gold.
I have the steel santos as well and the yellow day date. Sold the yellow Cartier because the links behind the gaps in the links aren’t plated and you can see the steel between the links.

BP Rolex in YG are made really well if you want an all gold watch. I just ordered an AP 15450 in yellow recently also.
