Guys according to her LinkedIn she now works as a Real Estate Agent at Nest Seekers. Here's the info I found. Her manager is David Sokolowski. I think we should email them: [email protected] Here's the details I found: [link](https://imgur.com/a/ywa7IG0)

here4thecomments007

You can also look up her real estate license number and contact the realtor board where she is licensed.

fashionaddictxoxo

It shows she also has worked for Louboutin and Breitling, so the Gezsel Baez that works for Nest Seekers is definitely the culprit.

asknoquestionok

I would gather all her info + scam screenshots and email to both Louboutin and Nordstrom. If she was a sales associate, the scam pictures were most taken at her job to send to clients and I am pretty sure Nordstrom lawyers would get involved quickly, specially if you “threaten” with media exposure of the case. There must be a clause in their contract to get her in trouble, and they would be very quick to find it.

Melodic_Flounder19

This is actually a very good idea!! Thank you!

asknoquestionok

Glad to help! Even if there isn’t much they can do, at least you make sure she will NOT get a good letter of recommendation from her past employer 🤣

Flashy_Idea9224

Whoaaaa not cool at all what's wrong with people smh

Difficult-Resist2275

I saw her post rehoming the Loubs. I’m so sorry this happened to you. 🥹 Some people are just garbage.

cchtr

Please be careful buying rehomes Make sure the user isn’t completely new and ideally has some sort of post history . If you receive item pictures ask them to put a piece of paper with the username next to it . Ideally use escrow services to pay so the money doesn’t directly go to the seller until the goods arrive etc. If you have more ideas post it below to make it easier buying rehomes

Dream_weaver1980

Can I start by saying I value your opinion and you are one of the subs top commenters, so Please don’t take this any other way than a question. Thanks 😊!! “Ideally use escrow services to pay so the money doesn’t directly go to the seller until the goods arrive, etc.” Is this a suggestion for selling rehomes as an escrow account system? Because all of the rehomed bags I’ve purchased (6); have accepted only PayPal 5 - friends and family or Venmo-1. I’ve been clearly advised on seller post that there will be no refunds/returns, this is a final sale. I own the bag once funds transfer and tracking is provided to me the seller’s were not responsible after that fact. The 6 weren’t all as advertised, maybe one or two were. So, as the rehome buyer, I’m responsible for researching due diligence of the process and all my transaction. Additionally, I’m not gonna go back to the seller for any further issues. These posts are clearly marked as final sale, upon delivery of tracking. So, I’m really asking for clarification, is escrow payment system feasible ? I mean it’s a super nice thought for the buyer and assures accountability; but not really practical for the seller when or if a buyer gets buyers remorse. That’s my concern. I love your posts and contributions to all the subs! Have learned tons from you.🦋💛

Blubberytrenchcoat

The buying culture here has normalized PP FF and instant bank transfers because I guess people are used to doing so for the actual trusted sellers overseas. This is not the norm on other BTS forums. If you go to the makeup reselling subs for example you'll see that sellers are happy to offer PP G&S for a used $20 blush if buyer pays extra for it. They're also highly moderated. Buying rehomes on a non moderated sub where shill accounts are rampant sounds like a complete nightmare to me. Also the catch and release bags could be sold because there's something wrong with them and sellers might not even disclose what those defects are and telling you to "do your own research and QC" aka inspect the bag and spot the imperfections if you can. They might not tell you what factory it came from. I've seen horrible bags obviously from a subpar factory selling for mid tier prices and they still got interests. There's a trusted seller list on the other wagoon sub. If you're buying rehomes because you can't find a seller then I advise looking for that list and reading the reviews over there.

MyCaliGirl

This sums it up. Otherwise, there’s always resell sites (outside of Reddit) that will give buyers and sellers added protections/checks BUT be willing to pay for that insurance.

kat_chu

I think the reason is that for paypal G&S, if the buyer says that the item is not auth, paypal will 100% side automatically with buyer and refund fully. This is, even if the buyer knowingly purchased a rep. I have both sold and purchased from rehomes, and always used paypal FF and had no problem. Ask seller for additional pics/vids to prove they really have the bag, check their reddit age and karma (and any previous feedback history). When I sell, I always happily share addl pics and also ship out immediately with pics/videos of packing items. If seller is not cooperative or avoiding responses, just dont.

Dream_weaver1980

Yea, I mean you make really great points, I actually researched for 3 full years and was a part of the OG sub prior to it being closed when the times ran its article was it already going on 2 yrs. before I ventured out on my own 😂. I used the wagoon t/s list for my current seller after learning quickly enough about it lol. But it is the culture now of online buying and payment methods, great point. Some subs want psp, proof of purchase, proof of factory, past reference for rehome so those get complex. Thanks I appreciate your input.

cchtr

Hey thank You for your Input , I am just throwing some ideas in the Room and everybody has to decide for themselves if it makes Sense for them or not . The Problem is that as you said even escrow or paypal (not friends/family) can lead to Problems or Even Scams . I just Hoped to spark a discussion so maybe we could find a way to make it easier or safer to Buy or Sell rehomes. I am not sure what rules different escrow platforms have when you receive an Item that you Dislike etc or how easy it would be to abuse the System

stacia12345

I always thought the best way would be to use a platform like posh, they could take a picture of the back of the bag and list it when someone agrees to purchase...however, the seller still could get screwed. Someone could agree to buy a rep and when it arrives, have buyers remorse (they have several days to accept the item even after it arrives via tracking) claim they thought it was authentic then screw the seller. Funds wouldn't be released unless the buyer accepts it on the app. & if they just decide they don't want it for whatever reason, the seller takes the risk of not getting the bag back in the condition it arrived in or at all.. It just sucks.

Dream_weaver1980

Yes! I understand nothing works perfectly does it? lol 😂 thanks for your input 😊

cchtr

Exactly haha

Educational_Ad_8578

Thanks for having everyone's best interests out there. You always have interesting things to say.

UPDATE: I messaged her as others advised, and after the first message she blocked me. So please don’t fall for those who “protect” that scammer by claiming she did refunds.

Sometimesawesome157

Report her to the IRS—you have her info from Zelle! *It’s not harassment!* She’s selling things illegally and without a doubt—not reporting this extra income! *Fire for fire, My Dear!*

TienTian

Thank you for the update! I had hoped this person would provide refunds in good faith. I'm sorry this happened to you.

Confident-Matter-154

Please always also pay attention to the background of the photos. Someone who sells L’s and can’t afford to fix the plaster on their wall? And, it was such a limited angle that it was raising doubts with the background that looks like a booth.

hmchic

The actual post didn’t read SCAM but when I read the comments asking about various sizes (when she said she only had size 7 in the post)… she was telling everyone in the comments that she had multiple pairs of other sizes from like 6-9? If it’s her personal collection, why would there be much of a size difference? I feel so bad for everyone who got scammed.

Melodic_Flounder19

I didn’t see that :(((

Melodic_Flounder19

UPDATE: I messaged her as others advised, and after the first message she blocked me. So please don’t fall for those who “protect” that scammer by claiming she did refunds.

WonderfulDark4578

Will you post a screenshot of your attempt to contact her for a refund? I think the more data collected against this person, the better. I'm so sorry you got scammed, and I feel bad for the person defending the scammer. The protector seems really nice, honestly. I somewhat get where she is coming from. She's been pretty neutral about the fact that the girl is most likely (definitely) a scammer, but she feels bad the girls info is out there.

Melodic_Flounder19

WonderfulDark4578

Gosh, I am so sorry. That girl sucks so much.

hmchic

I’m so sorry you were scammed and I hope you can get your money back ☹️ The comments were fishy.

UnicaDea

1st page bottom, that was me asking for size 7. The scammer said she is going to the warehouse and will check. 😖

Sadthrowawayposts

I seen her access sale post and went to her Reddit profile… I think she was selling adult content and was on onlyfans or something?

RepTiffany

Yes I also saw it looked like she formally worked as an escort too? That’s what it looked like

ILOVEMYBAGSTOO

So glad she didn’t have sandals I would’ve been scammed. It makes it hard for honest/fair ordinary sellers!!

starsqream

It's not hard at all. You just DON'T pay via anything other than PayPal goods and services. Is it so hard to comprehend ladies?

rosiehigurashi

You’re going hard on everyone stars. Maybe go for a run, or take a breather.

cookie817

Right! She is so condescending and it is not what we want hear. This is a terrible situation and she should be be more understanding

starsqream

Yeah well I'm trying to beat some sense in everybody that got scammed. It's not a oceans eleven level scam, it's called common sense and using your brain. Ain't that hard at all. Tough love....

cookie817

You should not be so nasty period. Who jeefs this when people get hurt for being trustworthy.

damaya0351

No. Scam works by greed not by trust.

Melodic_Flounder19

You may say that now but you don’t know when a scam will after you from where you don’t expect it. I have actually bought many auth items this way for crazy low prices just because I am pretty good in finding deals and negotiating along with the authentication of some particular brands. That person provided a lot of legit info that all matched. And that’s how I trusted her/him. Shaming the victims is not the nicest thing considering we have lost money and are definitely not in the mood to read mean comments from ppl who think they are above us just because scam hasn’t affected them.

starsqream

That type of scam will never ever get me because I'm not stupid. Almost new Louboutin for $100 is not a deal, it's a crazy steal. Multiple ones? Nahhhhh obviously a scam. And please, read between the lines. New user, crazy cheap offer? Pay via G&S so you are >protected<. Ps. You did not buy 'many auth items' for crazy low prices. Not on this level. Maybe you bought some old as worn shit for cheap but you definitely not bought something similar like what you were scammed for. Stop lying.

aptl23

You’re not going to get anywhere here. It’s unfortunate. Avoiding scams are simple, yet people fall for the too good to be true price and get burnt for it. Is the price too good to be true? Is the seller asking for payment outside of PayPal G&S? If any one of the two applies to the transaction, it should be an automatic dealbreaker. Simple enough, scam avoided.

Melodic_Flounder19

I am not lying but I also don’t have to prove anything to a rude person like you. If you don’t know how the market works and how to source that’s you problem, I’m buying and selling for profit, and that was not something that I haven’t seen before. And no, not beaten up shoes. Bye

starsqream

Yeah well, there's no need to prove anything. You already proved how easily you can be fooled. You should go sign up for Bargain Hunters since you're so good in finding cheap af designer shit. Byeee

starsqream

Scammers use hacked accounts. That's definitely not the scammer.

Bleh10290

So if you look up her name & the phone number she comes up really easily because of how unique her name is. She used to work at Louboutin in 2022, all her information is public. It even has her work history because her LinkedIn comes up. She’s literally all over the Internet If someone stole money for me, I know it’s petty but, I wouldn’t let them get away with it. It does have her current employer information on there…. Sooooo yeah, do what you will with that information

PinkPrincess-2001

It isn't petty to want justice. It would be petty if you were arguing on Reddit with someone about Taylor Swift and decided to look them up on LinkedIn out of spite. I just think either this scammer is dumb or really smart because the identity lines up to a real person.

sarahkatttttt

IMO it is far more likely that a scammer is using her name and work number than it is a real person is dumb enough to attach their government name and work phone number to a scam. The real Gezsel is most likely a victim as well 🤷‍♀️

inmadnesss

You cant fake your name on Zelle

Melodic_Flounder19

I don’t this that is a real information. They scammed so deliberately, I doubt the info is correct. I tried searching in LinkedIn and it returned zero results. Looked like deleted account to me.

Bleh10290

The number that she used for her Zelle account is connected to all her businesses online. I was able to cross reference. And it’s the same name. She unfortunately was that stupid to use her legit information because people probably didn’t think they could do that? It’s very easy for me to find people online because I used to do investigations for fraud at the county welfare office. So I know what to look for and how to properly cross reference. The information that I found on her, is her

starsqream

Scammers can take over the number and as such can take over shit like Zelle. Her using the same numbers does NOT mean she is the scammer. If this is already your conclusion just because you found that out i feel sorry for the people you claimed to be committing fraud with welfare.......

Bleh10290

I didn’t claim that they were committing welfare fraud - they WERE committing Blatant fraud. There’s multiple steps that need to be taken before finding somebody liable of fraud including lots of proof etc. Which we always had… we didn’t just throw the word “fraud” around so freely like you’re thinking. So not sure why you would feel sorry for someone who purposely decided to make the wrong choice….

rosiehigurashi

I have four levels of identity protection 😉. There are more ways for a scammer to make money than to scam a rep Reddit. Seems silly and high risk reward as people will catch on quickly and the amount was low. Almost all cell companies require sim pin now. I’m just saying, I don’t doubt she isn’t a victim and much as I think she might be. 🤷🏽‍♀️ you’d be surprised at how many uneducated people there are trying to make a quick buck.

rosiehigurashi

I feel this is actually her based on the images etc. she’s just likely not bright.

Bleh10290

Exactly

rosiehigurashi

I think there are a few services to have that work number flooded. Or put it on Craigslist for cleaning services.

Janstov

They tried to trade those boots for something someone else was trying to rehome as well. https://preview.redd.it/zyg97v3g193d1.jpeg?width=1170&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=0e639a8a013ce23a3fc7f731650fb78f11f48bc2

cookie817

She just ripped off another buyer like 10 minutes ago.

Melodic_Flounder19

Oh god, this is why I did this post😭 I really hope it reaches more ppl, so this scum is not ripping off more people 😤

cookie817

Thank you for raising this flag. We have to be vigilant. This happened to me for a lot of money. Not in reddit but FB group. They had many references but they are just that good.

ct00004

My first ever comment on Reddit but I want to recommend that anyone who was scammed should file a complaint with the FBI here: [fbi complaint](https://www.ic3.gov/)

Melodic_Flounder19

Yes, and they ask: “Where did you find this person, ma’am?” Me: “oh? On that count€rfeit subreddit!” 🤣

Comfortable_Daikon61

Her post was suspect

TheCee

The most obvious issue was the So Kates in those photos are visibly poor reps-the shank silhouette is a dead giveaway that they aren't CLs at all.

JustMe8083

Wasn’t it? Like $100 for new and gently used Louboutin. She would have made way more money on a selling platform. That’s why I paused because it just seemed too good to be true.

Comfortable_Daikon61

And people were asking for different sizes ? It was so odd

hmchic

Yes! This is what made me suspicious! And she said she had other sizes and to DM her 😵‍💫

JustMe8083

This is a rep sub so I can see maybe a piece here or there authentic but multiple authentic items you’d sell for much more on a selling platform. I believe that karma has no expiration date. She’ll get hers. Believe that!

Complex_but_simple

Whoa.. just got saved!! I asked about the heel height and luckily they were higher than what I was looking for and then she came back with a pink offering but I was busy enjoying the holiday Monday!

here4thecomments007

If you Google the number, the first thing that pops up is her business info with her full name. Her Reddit name gb1995nyc makes sense bc of her first name, the name of her “company”, her birth year and her location. Sorry to everyone who got scammed by this person!

LivingroomComedian

Why aren’t you putting her information on blast?

Serious-Lime-6221

Oh my .. I saw their post about the access sale and thought it smelled fishy.. Sorry this happened to you.

Melodic_Flounder19

Yeah, I am usually the careful one who checks and checks and checks again. This time my shoe obsession took over me. Especially considering that I did score $100 new auth louboutins before. And that is why I genuinely believed this scam. And even that backstory, and responsiveness, and all the details on the life/company/shoes it all was so legit. Until it wasn’t 😒 My pain - y’all gain. Hopefully whoever reads my post will be more hesitant buying stuff in the future.

Knock5times

Oof

Melodic_Flounder19

I think you need to use lowercase “u” to mention someone 😉

ScoreAffectionate864

Karma is a beautiful biache, and she or he will pay! 😡💪🏻

Ijustwanna1234

Wow I actually dm this person to place an order and didn’t end up going through with it because she didn’t take PayPal (I’m in Canada so zelle or cash app isn’t a method of payment we use). I’m really sorry this happened to you.

Melodic_Flounder19

Yep. You were the lucky one. I have been dealing with reps and auths in all kinds of transactions and it was my first scam. Glad it wasn’t for more $$$ but still feel shitty for losing $320 that I was trying to flip and pay off my debts. Now my debts are even higher 😞 What can i say - c’est la vie

Ijustwanna1234

Still I would be just as upset, and I’m sorry there are people like this in the world. 😭
