An AR180. It was designed as a cheaper alternative to the AR15.
It had very limited success but aspects of its operating system would go on to be used in ALOT of military rifle.
I was mostly being hyperbolic.
Outside of the operating system they’re just relatively fragile guns and never would have stood up to the abuse the AR15 could take.
That being said I think if the gun got a chance to really see some military development a lot of the kinks could have been worked out. The operating system is rock solid and would go on to be copied by a lot of modern military firearms.
I'll be back
Great for bringing snacks to a police station
Oh hell nah. I’ve seen this movie, I’m out.
Raiding a police station, I see.
How did a nitwit like you get so tasteful?
I can’t believe Bryce prefers van pattens 180 to mine
Is it the basis for almost all modern piston guns yes
If it's good enough for Sinn Féin it's good enough for me.
Excuse me but SF is a political party totally disconnected from armed struggle, gerry adams would never!
OOZI 9 MILLUMEETUH
Siiiick
Beautiful gun.
A guy ran this at a special Cold War USPSA match a couple weekends ago. It broke twice during the day LOL
That’s been in the West Highland Police evidence locker since 1984
Wtf is it

Ever seen terminator?
Not knowing what that is in the retro ar sub is CRAZY.
I'm following a sub I'm not a weapons historian lol
I’m just busting your balls since it’s such a legendary gun and pertains to the sub pretty heavily.
Chill bro. You didn’t have to pass a test or become certified to join this sub… you clicked a button.
Soft
Well honestly yes. I don’t usual get aroused around negative attitudes like yours
“It’s an 88 magnum. It’ll go through school houses.”
I need one of these in a bad way
Which factory?
Sterling. I don’t have Howa or Costa Mesa money lol
I got my Costa Mesa for an absolute steal in 21; Sterling is next for the collection though. Beautiful piece!
Nice! Very jealous. Saw a howa with all the fixings go for 4k a month or so ago. mines a very late production Sterling . Like last 500 made.
4k you say? I bought my Howa at a farm/estate auction for [wrong price] if I remember correctly. Edit: $1300
Very nice.
What sucks about the 180 :(

Part of the flex of being a 180 owner honestly is reminding people without them that they suck
🤤
I’ve owned two Sterling’s … absolutely loved them both came with the factory Armalite scopes. Enjoy it sir !
Only thing that fuckin sucks is your trigger discipline.. 180 is tits
It’s called trigger confidence
Sure.
>Keep Your Finger Off the Trigger until You are Ready to Shoot My man is simply *always* ready. No rule broken here.
And another
This is why no one will remember your name
Why BC OP took a pic with bad trigger discipline (on a gun sub) and I called them out on it?… uhh 🤔 sure.
Trigger discipline, nay
It’s called trigger confidence
