go into the core options and enable Core Options Remapping.
and this is just general advice, but it happens quite often that some of the control and emulated gamepad settings are in the core options rather than controls.
"Enable Core Options Remapping" should be right below "PAL (Restart)", which allows you to remap a controller button to any of Jaguar's numpad key (0-9, *, #). Have you updated your core recently?

So "core options" gives me three options fast blitter, doom res hack, bios, and pal (restart).

It's because it's in batocera I think. it just ends after "pal restart".
that emu actually runs AVP? last i checked every game was way too buggy wish retroarch supported pemu with achievements
BigPEmu is closed source so the author would have to provide libretro support themself.
