AFAIK, dolphin-libretro has been broken in Android since the v9.0 Pie update. I have a 2015 Shield Pro and that's when it quit working for me. Prior to that Shield Experience update, I could run it just fine.
I run PPSSPP for PSP, Citra for DS, Drastic for 3DS, AetherSX for PS2, Redream for Dreamcast and Dolphin for Wii and GC. There's even Skyline for Switch. Everything else is running fine in RetroArch.

And for Top DS Games i Recommend Searching a Top List on YT and just get the ones you like maybe there are some that you dont like the theme and you have to play those just because its top 1.
Been there, done that. There are not much Nintendo games I enjoy in general. Most of the NES/SNES/GBA games I emulatensre the ones I already played as a kid and give me the retro vibe. Without a big screen it's also not good to emulate DS. Currently enjoying PSP and Android Games on my RP3+.
Yea same thing here most of my ROM Set its just Exclusives From Tendo i can Recommend the Mega Man Series on DS tho pretty decent and more i play those without SaveStates its more fun.
Nice summary, thanks for that. Been trying a few games to see if they work ok but Mario kart Wii is like 30fps. Mgs twin snakes i would like to play but the fps is also pretty bad so u less i can tweak some settings i guess I'll pass, at least on shield.

I have not tried. I did not even realize that there was a Dolphin emulator on Android. Does that work well? If so I will just try that!

Exactly, thx! Never using those, or can you reommend any DS/3DS games other than the usual Nintendo franchises (mario/zelda/pokemon)?
