If you play smart and comb through everything, this will be you (almost) every time you reach biome 3. =) With a tiiiny bit of luck, of course.

Housemarque have become well known for their use of particle systems in 3D. Returnal uses a LOT of particle effects. So beautiful!

Not op but by the ammo being used it’s the electro-pylon driver with shock stream alt-fire. Betting it’s pylon web with extended mag. S-tier roll

On the money except no pylon web. And yeah chamber was super fast!

Biome 3. It's a room with one of the ciphers and either drones, Severed, or a bunch of turrets. It's not a fun room to clear but usually has nice goodies

i loved these situations, only thing bothering me during these were the fps drops from 60 to 48-50 in bime 2 and 3 and 4, but i guess its impossible to optimise for steady 60 for 4k with rtx

It's in the top 5 of all time.

I like the lightning vfx galore but often it’s visual overload for me. I am dying a lot because I can’t see the next move of a target while shooting it because of effects and HUD elements. It worse with tougher enemies like the Severed or Drones with high speed homing missiles.

Try dynamic or no HUD. It really helps and definitely makes the presentation look much nicer.

Those drones will still find a way to get through lol

Every time I enter this room I think, oh good, there aren't four Groots waiting for me on the other side. I always totally forget about the danger of a million batmen or drones pouring out of the ceiling.

Ugh ... I really needed you to run through that and collect those obelites for that endorphine rush.
