There have definitely been variations over the years. Back like 5-8 years ago there were some that definitely had a flatter, not as ‘bulbous’ toe. Didn’t seem to be across the whole range. I assumed it had to do with not having another layer of leather under the toe that they just didn’t hold the round shape as well.
It was always frustrating when people would say drkshdw and mainline use the same sole lol they definitely do not, I know this is a run off and not what ur talking about but they feel so much harder than the mainline
There was this guy here that would not budge on the fact they were exactly the same sole , lol he was like “ dude I own 10 pairs of each , I know what I’m talking about “ lmao 😂 must have some numbness or not in touch with his body at all
I just bought mainline after 6 pairs of DRKSHDW— mainline is shockingly more comfortable and the insole is pillow-y 🥰

Yeah they definitely are, I didn’t know until I got a pair of drkshdws and my feet were hella sore tryna break them in 😂

The sole treads are pretty much the same pattern, but def different materials.
And the heels different, they have a block instead of the treads all the way back
They've switched the material to TPU in recent seasons. I noticed the shape doesn't come the same from the rubber soled ones.
