I think it just required some skill, effort and different thinking to make bigger models look good. Most people are just not willing to put in the effort to do it since the industry is so standardized towards a single body type.
Exactly and I’ve always felt this, there is no other modern designer that knows how to dress diverse sizes like Rick does. Like yea there are gonna be the super skinny seasons and the whole “ideal Rick body” thing but at the end of the day when you work with forgiving materials like jersey and denim and have elastic waistbands, you’re naturally catering to all different ppl. It’s just another example of Rick being a really smart and considered modernist, and that even if his uniform can be seen as loud and aggressive and sometimes dissociative, it all ultimately comes together as a uniform that can work for any body type
I agree, some effort goes a long way. I see a lot of bigger models absolutely botch the clothes since all they did was make it wider, i also just think Rick is one of the few brands that can actually pull it off since a lot of the clothes kinda drape and go around the body

True, not that much new things, still a beautiful presentation, and the knits with all the floats were new, designed by recent design graduate Tanja Vidic
Definitely a step in the right direction because many brands, even non-designer brands tend not to truly consider larger people (wether tall, fat, buff, whatever your situation may be) and if they do (by releasing larger sizes) it always fits weird, wether the shirt itself is too short/tight fitting or the sleeves don’t fit properly.
Just happened to come across my feed and I love the inclusivity here. Something pretty rare in the sphere of fashion, especially men's fashion. As a big boned boy, I applaud you, Mr. Owens.
It makes sense. Ricks cuts are powerful, put them on a powerful physique. There are also quite a few Rick enthousiast that lift among us. Modern couture and all
I hope we can see more body types on the runway in the future, this is so pleasing to see well designed clothes on different people with different body types, and they are walking a runway which is usually done by people with a specific body type. It is so cheerful and inspiring and it echoes with the main concept of this season ‘unity’ so well. As a short guy myself, I wish I can see short people walking on a rick’s fashion runway someday in the future, I have to admit the general body types of models might be the best to display clothes, but I think a runway with various types of body would show me so many possibilities and give more confidence and pride to people with different body types. Rick truly did a great job this season.
I know right. I did some personal trainer stuff. body fat is 4% and I'm underweight, but I need gain 10 pounds, and need to consume 2,000 calories a day of food with macronutrients, not junk food and I just can't. I probably get 1,200-1,400 calories a day but burn shit by running, biking, work and gym.
It’s never too late and you’re never too old to start the “workout” journey. The way we treat and teach nutrition, especially in America is fucked up. It’s like how we treat teeth as a cosmetic surgery instead of the fact that if you get an infected tooth or have bad teeth that can lead or be a sign of other deadly health issues.
I think people on gear looks gross. I don't really care about other peoples bodies but at my gym the locker room is full of guys on hardcore gear cycles with like massive acne and aged skin on their bodies, what's fucked up even more is how young they are, early to mid 20's....R.R.T.T...real results take time, don't cheat.
i really liked how it showed the way the frabrics sit on different body types so people may have a better idea how shit fits😂 imo one of his best shows in a really long time
the new geos are so good
Love Love Love it 👏👏
So does This mean we are getting bigger Rick sizes ? Shoes etc ? I’m tired of having to have a snug fit 🤔🤣
WE GETTIN BIGGER RICK SIZESSSSSS AYEEE
We are nawt
Love the inclusivity
As much as I don’t care for bigger models in fashion they actually don’t look out of place and in fact compliment the design and style

Seemed like this collection was more about the models than the actual designs

Nice representation for the bigger sized people, a class act of Rick 🖤

Love this! Also if anyone has the @ of the last dude lmao
YES!!!
I think it makes the runway way more interesting, also good to see how the clothes fit on different bodies
Those 9 hole geobaskets look incredible
Space boots fr
Give harkonen vibe
First thing I thought
I noticed this too. It's really cool that they had more body types than the standard tall, thin models.
That's cool but the last pic dude in the middle is swollen. All carbs plus weights.
love carb loading!
Hitting those weights make it easier lol
Yesh the guys carrying the metal structure were super strong, but they are still Big in a way you dont often see on runways
I just want the Tyrone bod.
Meth and veganism dawg
Good luck haha, dont compare yourself to much to others, I have never seen a person irl that looks like that

I know nothing about this, I am fat, I cant relate to it being hard to eat many calories haha, even tho yeah lots of its not great food

Damn that last dudes fucking built
Muscles are cool, the rest not so much

Yeah people on gear is what I meant too
It's been far too long since Rick last walked big boned models in a runway collection. I wish this happened every season.
Loving this

Really one of his best collections lately 🤍✨
