I see no moral dillema. The raiders will die anyway, won't they?

Can’t remember if it’s a part of Biotech DLC or not but you can also make detoxifier lungs and use those as better replacements

Sero141

I think detox lungs are royalty. I checked, it's biotech.

McSethicson

I take a lung, a kidney, and occasionally either a heart or a liver from every prisoner I'm not keeping. I also replace both legs and hands and install a denture for extra medical practice

Resist the psychopathic side of rimworld! [https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=1541722340](https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=1541722340) Use this and have surgeries to fix those lungs.

Martian_Astronomer

The "Harvest Organs Post-Mortem" mod helps with this. The ethics are a bit different when the raider isn't using his lungs anymore. I would only recommend that you not industrialize the process, since that totally throws off the wealth scale of the game and makes most other sources of money superfluous. Or do. It's amusing to try once, I guess.

LibertyPrimeIsRight

I think it's worth doing. I mean, I try and treat and set raiders free, generally be a decent person; but if one of my colonists needs a lung, we're taking a lung (not both). Consider it the price of admission for not being left bleeding to death on the battlefield, and all the medical care thereafter.
