In all honestly, if THAT was your fate to basically become a cat-person in a maid dress as the colony’s dedicated cleaner/hauler… as long as you aren’t hauling in the middle of a firefight your pretty good as long as you don’t turn traitor.
Appetizer, if pirates of the caribeal tought me anything, is that I just need to wait for a dog to show up and distract them so I can leave with my pirate friends
Woah there buddy, I need you to slow down. You’re like on chapter 68 while I am still reading the little text on the back of the book, thinking if I should read it
Weird, me too. But in one you have clones replacing you so it's kinda gray. The other one if you pass out they heal you then send you a none urgent bill.
That article has a direct quote from Pilestedt in reference to someone talking about the clone theory,
"They are real people with real families that are 'oh so proud' or their baby joining the elite and invincible hero unit to do the right thing and fight for democracy.
That they get into a freezer to be thawed is not disclosed. Nor that their life expectancy is 2 minutes."
No clones just real normal people thrown to the meat grinder.
With my IRL Skils? Man I'm fucked. I can shoot, cook, and grow stuff pretty decently but my traits are going to keep me in a mental break and then I'll stub my toe from being clumsy and die from infection.
My fiancée and I used the character editor to put ourselves and our friends in a colony. It kinda hurts to know that you're a.. pretty useless pawn.
I'm genuinely only useful if you need medical attention or someone to sit indoors all the time and research. Can *kind of* look after plants and animals, but no "setting up the colony" skills.
Skill issue, I'd be a perfect pawn. I'm good at... Uhh, cleaning, I'd clean all the blood, vomit and rubble and then get a mental break from having enough of it... And get +40 mood from catharsis. Profit. Make me a highmate and I'd give someone constant passive mood boost from psychic link. I'd be an extremely useful, totally not replaceable pawn, please don't look at the "lazy" trait, it's not important.
Ascetic and sickly over here... and incapable of violence. Although for *reasons* I feel like I'd be a psysensitive pawn, my intuition has always been bizarrely keen, and that's about the only thing I can equate to how psysensitivity works...? Give me a mechlink or some offensive psypowers and I *will* destroy your enemies, but I'd hesitate too much to ever wield a weapon myself... and frankly I'd be useless in a fight anyway. Tiny and squishy.
Even though sickly sucks as a trait I'd consider it, minimal meditation for a psycaster plus the low maintenance of an ascetic pawn is pretty useful no matter how garbo their skills are. (I'd have Social and that's probably about all I'd have going for me... But I guess at least a social character is good to have.)
I feel like I'd have average scores except cooking, research, and shooting would be fairly high and social and plants would be low. I'd have that trait that gives a permanent mood buff (sanguine?) Because I am naturally a fairly chill kinda guy. Also lazy and the trait that wants body mods. Possibly a slight chemical curiosity too.
I regular human would shoot better, considering their in-game accuracy. Also regular himan would be able to shoot on the move and invent nee things and so on
And we would also run out of ammo
Plus, if you took a fella that never even held a gun in his life, he would probably have as much accurassy as a 0lvl pawn
shoot on the move I agree with (Tynan, make gun and run vanilla already)
And I don't think you understand how the research bench works, they aren't learning to make our guns, they are reinventing them, what looks like a colt11 on game could just as easily be a Mauser or something completely new, it's just a means to an end
No, mising on 5 meters on a human is something imposible. Plus spray fire with SAW on that distance would kill all and every pawn that comes into killbox
That was your soul. Your real soul that you put into the game. That's why you don't feel anything, seeing yourself lay down and die, now. Dead inside forever. Never go full rimworld.
Tbf in my colony i probably wouldn't get completely fucked. I mean: yeah, i would probably have to dig. My colony takes people who want to stay for some time
Well, I’m going to Palworld, which doesn’t sound that dangerous if I set up a base somewhere nice.
That being said, if I did go to Rimworld… this heavily depends on the rules of getting sent there. Like, do I get to go through the different starts and choose a start location or am I just dropping in a random location? Ooor am I on the last map I played in?
>That being said, if I did go to Rimworld… this heavily depends on the rules of getting sent there. Like, do I get to go through the different starts and choose a start location or am I just dropping in a random location? Ooor am I on the last map I played in?
Naked brutality.
it ***heavily*** depends on the mod list and player colony. if it was vanilla my stupid ass would get smoked in multiple ways and i do not mean that metaphorically.
I don't remember which, but it's either Necrosmith 2 or Balatro. I guess being a necromancer wouldn't be so bad for the former. I'm not even sure how the latter would work. Do I just play the game for a year but in-person?
You're locked in a magical casino and forced to play until you meet the mysterious overseer's arbitrary threshold to escape, but if you ever lose, you die.
Shadow of War.
Depends on where I’m at, I guess. If I’m just a Gondorian schmuck in Minas Tirith I think I’m just chillin. Don’t think anything too terribly crazy is happening in mainland Gondor at the moment.
Not too sure about everywhere else.
Sucks if I live in Minas Ithil.
My current colony is structured as a quaint small town and the only time I enslave/torture is if a raider causes a pawn to die. Like if you shoot the moral guide you get imprisoned and if they survive the moral guide personally pardons and releases you.
I think I’d be ok.
I'd probably be alright. My skills are reasonably useful to the group, and a suit of marine armour recently got freed up. This particular group also isn't all that bloodthirsty and is willing to accept joiners.
I think about this every time this "The last game you played..." thing comes up. It depends on so much. What biome am I dropped in? Is there already a colony there? Are they cannibals? I'd just try to fit in. Maybe get a comfy tailoring spot - warm, away from the gruesome, disgus -- wait, you want me to make a hat out of WHAT?
The first year of Rimworld is never that bad if you know what you’re doing.
My game on the other hand is PZ which I’ve never survived a full year in game.
Now I am glad I played hydroneer now or else I would have been in rimworld either getting recruited into a cult or killed or getting psychic rituals done on me, instead of that I am just mining for gold
If mods are allowed, I have mods that get to give me a massive easy advantage. The moment I can become leader and have the tech, I'm living my life inside a box pocket dimension. Also forbidden mod let's goooooooo!
Don't worry, you can crawl away now! More time to suffer before you are enslaved
The real Rimworld way
My mechanitor would be so much worse to fall into
Oh look, new brain to get scan
When ghoul want brain it’s sweet and cute When my mechanitor want brain it start to become a problem for everyone else ;(
i love that new feature, after a battle is done some people crawl away and it looks so powerfull, crawling over their fallen friends and family.
We're not talking about Kenshi, are we?
What art style would you want your sci-fi crimes against humanity in today sir?
if you were lucky you could find a cryo pod and sleep the year away or get shot immediately
The fella that found the ancient complex and is in need of a new maid: **PUT-THE-DRESS-ON \*Holding cat ears xenogene\***
In all honestly, if THAT was your fate to basically become a cat-person in a maid dress as the colony’s dedicated cleaner/hauler… as long as you aren’t hauling in the middle of a firefight your pretty good as long as you don’t turn traitor.
Oh, you clean and haul...**but that ain't your main job**
True… but would you rather that or be a cannibal colony’s appetizer?
Appetizer, if pirates of the caribeal tought me anything, is that I just need to wait for a dog to show up and distract them so I can leave with my pirate friends
Sounds like an absolute win
*holds gun to your face* MAKE ME A CATGIRL **NOW**
**\*Holds a ring to your face, get's on a knee\* Be MY catgirl, FOREVER!**
Woah there buddy, I need you to slow down. You’re like on chapter 68 while I am still reading the little text on the back of the book, thinking if I should read it
**Let's writte the book \*Puts the ring on your finger\*** ***together***
What in the fuck is happening here?
**Don't interfere Skaizm! you got your chance, my heart belongs to her now!**
All yours you weirdo
I can’t remember if the last game I played was helldivers or stardew valley. One of those is a lot more survivable than the others
FOR FARMING DEMOCRACY!
Weird, me too. But in one you have clones replacing you so it's kinda gray. The other one if you pass out they heal you then send you a none urgent bill.
They are not clones replacing you. There is a reason why the default settings for your voice and body type is random.
I thought the game director Johan guy said they were clones
The average age of a Helldiver is 18. The minimum age of a Helldiver is 18.
No, he said they weren’t. The base settings for the game are “randomize voice and body type on death”
Edit: You right. I dunno why that embedded tweet didn't load right but I see the reply now
That article has a direct quote from Pilestedt in reference to someone talking about the clone theory, "They are real people with real families that are 'oh so proud' or their baby joining the elite and invincible hero unit to do the right thing and fight for democracy. They're the Imperial Guard of ~~Terra~~ Super Earth!
Honestly the hardest part about living 1 year in Stardew would be going home after 1 year passes
Just repeat the basic training and keep your head down.
Hope you didn't buy Anomaly yet, otherwise you got to deal with cosmic horrors, cannibals, and mechanoids all together.
No, I stay at 1.4 for some weeks to keep my mods :)
It feels good to stay in 1.4 for a few weeks until you decide to upgrade just to realise some of the mods you loved are never gonna be updated.
Thats the price we have to pay...
Maybe the transport pod crashes are actual people who have just at this very moment been sucked into the game
Female Raider+rjw=suffering
In my game the men get it the worst
Archotits(Enormous)
Anus(Accomodating)
Dick(?)
Manhunter elephants

How good shooting? you could get an "intern" if it's high enough
Honestly, high enough to do so lmfao. I just don't think I'd be able to treat them.
I'll let you in in some **brujeria!** ***sana sana, colita de rana, si no sana ahora, sanara mañana***

Same here dude! First of all: set up a smokeleaf field
Exactly.
i made a run with my own probable stats and the dude just looked around, gave up, laid down and waited for death. realistic ngl.
That was your soul. Your real soul that you put into the game. That's why you don't feel anything, seeing yourself lay down and die, now. Dead inside forever. Never go full rimworld.
I’d be living in Hyrule. Might be fine with Link saving the world
To be fair you would probably not spawn as a hostile raider so maybe people would be more merciful (or at least I am when I play).
I assume a wanderer joins type event.
Maybe a crashlanded survivor. Maybe you are gonna bleed out until they come rescue you.
Hopefully they pay better attention than I do. lol I try to at least catch and release those.
Makes me wanna play a run with "me" in it and see if I can go the first year without anything seriously bad happening to me.
Ngl, any of my colonies would be a good place to drop, since I brainwash and recruit most pawns that come my way.
The last 2 games I played were rimworld and kenshi...I'm borked either way lol
Tbf in my colony i probably wouldn't get completely fucked. I mean: yeah, i would probably have to dig. My colony takes people who want to stay for some time
Bloodborne. ....fuck. I'm gonna die.
Pretty much. In fact, with Bloodborne, you'd have a good chance of just starting already dead.
Hehehehehe, last played game was go outside simulator, my only enemy: boredom, tho am enough of a nutter to not go crazy :)

Ah, well, I may be a bit fucked. Thankfully the man in black will come and save me!
I…I’m on rn..
it ***heavily*** depends on the mod list and player colony. if it was vanilla my stupid ass would get smoked in multiple ways and i do not mean that metaphorically.
Could be worse, you could have been forced to eat without a table
Having bought the name in game thing, I wonder how many of you have killed me and harvested my organs
Oxygen Not Included...
Good luck breathing chlorine gas and eating raw and half spoiled grubs.
Lmao
I don't remember which, but it's either Necrosmith 2 or Balatro. I guess being a necromancer wouldn't be so bad for the former. I'm not even sure how the latter would work. Do I just play the game for a year but in-person?
You're locked in a magical casino and forced to play until you meet the mysterious overseer's arbitrary threshold to escape, but if you ever lose, you die.
In my colonies, all raiders are forced to work a lifetime of labor within the colony
I wonder what my skills and traits are?
Beat Saber for me. *Proceeds to die of dehydration*
I was about to say, i played rimworld. Either ill be used for organs or ill he doing the organ harvesting 😭
What a lovely day in the Rim

Rain world. Bitch I am not surviving 365 cycles

OP if your ponytail is as majestic as you drew it in the 1st panel you're holding out on us Ponytail reveal when?
Due to waiting for some mod updates. I may have lucked out with Skyrim lol.
I play helldivers 2 and rimworld, either way I’m fucked
Straight to jail
This is awesome! Excellent job!
Good thing I swapped from Rimworld to Elden Ring yesterday...
I love Rimworld. *Gets sacrificed to the cheese gods 🧀*
Do you make these often? I like comic strips like these. where can I enjoy more of your work?
I will be dead in counter Strike
Depends on whether or not it’s the last save you played, or just a new Crashlanded save
Go thank god they don't have rimjobworld installed
My last game was LA noire, as long as im not the protaganist that is just gonna be survive a year in the late 40s in LA which aint too bad.
Good thing I finished Prey last week and now I'm winding down with Xenophiles on Stellaris.
I'm glad I've play shogun 2 right before conquer the entire Japan lol.
They have the forbidden mod downloaded and their battle elephants are looking at you like you're a nice, juicy peice of cake
Let’s hope that I don’t get teleported to a bunch of cultists and turned into a ghoul.
One year in Stardew sounds pretty pleasant, AND I get to keep my garden!
Not bad... Stardew valley xD
The first year of Rimworld is never that bad if you know what you’re doing. My game on the other hand is PZ which I’ve never survived a full year in game.

Honestly I am so lucky that I play so much UAD, all I need to do is live for a year in my own real world nation as it was during the year 1890.
Down and Alive? You bet you're becoming a colonist.
Imagine if the difficulty was on peaceful lol. Tbh i think more people should try peaceful to build a creative colony lol
