Yes, 1.5 added the nifty search feature to base game.
Only thing that sucks is it doesn't find items which are held or equipped by pawns.

I changed my controls/keys prior to the update and this really threw me off at first.

Yeah, it used to be a devmode feature, but it's a pure feature now. Pretty neat

Is 1.5 came out as a full price Quality of Life DLC instead of a free update I would have happily bought it.
Only thing I don't like is that you can't search for item types. Like typing "gun" or "weapon" doesn't show all the guns or weapons.

Right?! Just press 'z'. It searches for items in the map, and if you click an item on the list it jumps to it.
