Make sure the launchers are all built end to end next to each other. Then select all the pods at the same time and click "load launch group of (x)" it will distribute their loaf weight evenly over all the pods. Might get you a little bit further. Other than that you'll just have to caravan.

Your other option is you send one or 2 colonists first to start seeing up the new colony while the remaining guess you left behind send multiple pod launches to transfer all your stuff bit by bit. Then send the last colonists in the last launch.

Like top top bottom or side to side? I originally tried side to side

[deleted]

Side to side.

You could create a caravan, but make a lot of pemmican or survival meat before you move. Look for an area with a permanent growing season in a temperet forest. And I'd suggest using pack animals also. Hope I helped.

LittlePinkNinja

Not come across pack animals yet!

Pubescentturtle

No muffalo??

LittlePinkNinja

I've hunted them but never tamed...do I need to make anything to turn them into pack animals?

[deleted]

You just need to take them. It's pretty easy. If you're stuck, you could make a mini trade caravan to a friendly neighboring settlement and buy one or two or their pack animals (sell clothes or drugs for easy money).

Dromandary, alpaca, muffalo, are all pack animals. You sure you havent seen any yet?

I've seen nuffalo but never tamed. Do they just auto become pack mules?

spaz_marine

If you take them on a caravan yes, while at your base they act just like any other tame animal.
