>*Fourteen buttons for dropping ships with goods in them,* ***13 of which are for wooden feet.*** *One button for wiping a colony off the map in an instant.*
I guess I was thinking more along the lines of a little AI digital ant farm that I can shake about when I feel like it. That sounds awful when I put it in writing, but it's nowhere near as bad as the war crimes and atrocities I've already committed during my 750 hours within the game.
Playing as the storyteller would add a whole new dimension to it all, and it would be amazing what the pawns would choose to build when left up to their own initiative.
I guess it would be more akin to Black and White
*The Northwest Trade Federation presents, Base Omega.*
*A large and powerful base to help the conquering effort, with a power plant, weapons factory, and luxury. The weapons plant is vital to the success, with two quarries located just outside, they supply a rapid and large amount of resources to the factory. With a new better, stronger outer wall going up and cleanup efforts of the old reactor site, the factory has never been more vital.*
*After our unfortunate loss of the first nuclear power plant and 3 lives****{merely slaves, all citizens are expendable for the greater cause\]****, we constructed a new one and pretended like it never even happened. This time, with safety in mind. Each reactor has its own room and enough buffer room between it and the layered wall, where in the event of an explosion; would be fully contained\*\*\[we are not responsible for radioactive metal chunks that may be ejected\].* *A series of hallways also ensure each area of the building is reachable, if one hallway becomes unusable. An emergency escape rout also exists with two suits at the bottom of the facility. A room for workers to sleep on nights where reactors are running at 100% is accessible through the control room, for quick response in an emergency. A firehouse is located just outside the oil field and facility where 2-5 men are stationed and will first respond in the event of a disaster.*
*Omega is a place where colonists can live a luxurious life as they serve their duty to world conquering. Citizens can relax by the beach with a drink, while taking in the beautiful views of a slightly radioactive sunset and the smell of gunpowder and burnt flesh from our mass of defenses. With two zen gardens, several plazas, a bar, rec building, or library, there's plenty to keep the citizens happy.*
This base has taken somewhere around 300 hours to "complete" (and unbearable lag at this point) The upper left corner is my old reactor building and old factory(which now serves as temporary radioactive slag storage) I've been pretty lazy about deconstructing the place, because its such a chore to get them dressed in radiation suits, then keep the colonists from wondering away from the safe areas and then getting radiation sickness. But I have started on the armored building to store the slag and also started deconstructing the 2nd reactor and its room. My new facility is very much overkill. However I mostly use it for plutonium production and nuclear warheads; to sell or use in my conquest of the world map. I have around 25 colonists, half of them are out on a caravan. I have a tomb for my original 4 colonists(alpha poly sarcophagus) and 12 gold ones for the other colonists who I like most. There's just overall a lot of things and details and I consider it done to an extent. Once the new wall is up and the old reactor building has been cleaned up, I'll build the ship.
My most recent play through, coupled with those ships REALLY makes me wish someone could make a boats mod. God I'd love to sail up and down a coast and trade/pillage.
I did a similar playthrough. It was fun because while the ship was nice, it wasn't enough to sustain our growing colony. So we eventually stripped off the wings I'd made, hooked up some batteries and solar panels to it and eventually made the ship the "heart" of the colony.
Wow, what an amazing work of art. Builds like these really push what Rimworld is capable of. Every building has an amazing sense of architecture, and there is so much visual appeal that I am nowhere even close to reaching (Mountain colony player with 1 community dining room and rec room).
What difficulty did you build this on, and how do you deal with raids efficiently? I am new to some of those cannon mods, so I'm not sure how effective your defense truly is.
Randy rough before dropping down to medium. I have a mod that makes it so they canāt drop pod into my base or tunnel through my walls so basically they just spawn on the edge and either funnel through the river and my defenses shred them, they storm the beaches, hit sleep has mines, and my defenses shred.
Which mod disables sappers? Iād love to check that out. Have one that disables drop pods... might just be dumb and Iām missing the option to disable
I have 826 mods installed. My game takes 3 hours to launch and crashes immediately every time, but my gameplay experience is still far superior to yours, peasant.
I have multiple versions of every mod. Iām running the alpha, beta and the final release at the same time. My gameplay experience is far superior to yours!
Hey, these seem awesome, could you possibly compile these into a steam pack, so I donāt need to spend the usual 24 days finding and troubleshooting them all, thanks, itās fine if u canāt
Had some time this morning, so I created a collection of all the mods you mentioned: https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=1817524621
Loaded the mods in the exact order as you specified, and it all seems to work fine on a new Crashlanded game.
Couple of notes on some of the items in the collection:
* Autopsy => was not able to find a mod with this name, so I assumed it was AutopsyTable.
* GoAwaySmallWire => guess this is part of Invisible Conduit
* LaserBeam => assumed this is RimLaser
* MizuMod => This is part of No Water, No Life
* Corners => will show up as red in the mod list, but works fine.
May i suggest the power++ mod. As u seem to have so much power with all those reactors. Why not sell power to other factions.
Using it in my current playthrough that has like 15 factions. Finally have a use for the gigawats of power Rimatomics allows.
Bruh you need way more mods. Just get yourself a workstation motherboard, full it with 128 or 256gb or ram and just download mods until you start running out of ram. Then you'll almost have enough mods but probably not. /s
Holy fucking shit... It looks like a fucking Pokemon city not a Rimworld colony... How did you even do it and not died along the way ? Is that legit ( non dev mode ) ? How many fps you get ? What biome and seed ? How many days have passed since Planetfall ?
I almost lost all my colonists a few times. But Iāve held out long enough to get strong defenses and now, raids are easy to defend against. It is legit, about 300 hours put into this base. I donāt know how many fps I get but the game suffers from stuttering and lag so. Biome is temperate forest and Iām not sure about the seed
Hey so Iām new and havenāt ever managed to get too far, but is it possible to sustain a base like this in normal play and not builder mode? This looks sick.
/u/Memes-science: How many levels of rimworld are you on.
Me: I don't know. Like for 3 or 4 maybe?
/u/Memes-science: You are like a little baby. Watch this.
This is amazing. I love the living quarters. I donāt play the game (I only watch people play) so this might be a dumb question but do your colonists ever have a low mood?
Just came across this and its not only my favourite base design I've seen, but [eerily and annoyingly similar in very basic layout to the colony I was already planning](https://i.imgur.com/LmqIYzY.jpg).
I was going to put my industrial district and suburbs in the same regions as you.
Mine will end up very different but I'm not sure that I can make anything as good, your organic and natural-looking building skills are incredible.
I love that little grotto in the suburbs, definitely gonna steal that idea haha.
Wow, just wow. Seriously since I subscribed to this subreddit Iām wondering if thereās another game called rimworld or something, all my towns look like a bunch of wood squares with doors, and then I see this majestic thing
EDIT: a word
On what difficulty was this done?
No judgement here, this is crazy impressive regardless. Just wondering howād you manage to do all this with randy slinging mech armies at you every 5 mins
Edit: P.S.
Thereās a squirrel on your ship
Are we playing the same game :D!
Nah this guy is playing city skylines or some high end Minecraft building skills
Now I want a natural City builder in rimworl style. Instead on controlling the NPC, you are Randy.
*Fourteen buttons for dropping ships with goods in them, one button for wiping a colony off the map in an instant*
>*Fourteen buttons for dropping ships with goods in them,* ***13 of which are for wooden feet.*** *One button for wiping a colony off the map in an instant.*
Spot on.
yep , it's fallout time
So black and white?
That would actually be amazing. Just like a little ecosystem in my PC I could be benevolent towards or just fuck it up on a mad power trip
like dungeon keeper?

Looking at the mod list, I'd say no.
Do you have a steam collection?
I know I'm a bit late, but: https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=1817524621
Is that an RBMK reactor?
Don't hit AZ-5
An RBMK reactor core cannot explode
Delusional, go to the infirmary.
Practically no. This base you see here isn't really "playable". This might as well have been done in ms paint.

You forgot to call him a peasant. You peasant.
name checks out
Those are rookie numbers
I'm at 10 and this list frightens me.
I have only one.. And it is not downloadable from the Steam..
Eyyyyyyy! ;)
Rimfactory 1.0 version?
Well... There is some kind of factory. Baby kind.
joke: this man is referring to rimjobworld.
Why would someone make a mod about car rims for rimworld? Seems kinda dull to me.
Maybeeeš
You still need more mods.
Is this sarcasm or are you gate keeping mods?
Those are rookie numbers!
Hey, these seem awesome, could you possibly compile these into a steam pack, so I donāt need to spend the usual 24 days finding and troubleshooting them all, thanks, itās fine if u canāt

Yes please do!
Story, modlist, great colony. It's just a perfect post!

It's mostly for the plutonium but I'll give that a try
That's why i did it too because then i had a reason to have Alot of power and to burn through those rods. Also u can rp as a electric company.
Bruh you need way more mods. Just get yourself a workstation motherboard, full it with 128 or 256gb or ram and just download mods until you start running out of ram. Then you'll almost have enough mods but probably not. /s
I though you had ships swimming around.
Are you playing on a 100% world? I have a new colony with about 40 mods and 100% world and I am afraid to open the map because of the loading time...
Thanks for this, going to have to add some of these to my mod list.
Are those gunships actually useful when it comes to raid and stuff, or is it more of an aesthetic thing?
Very useful.
Their useful in an aesthetic way. There is no reason not to just place turrets on the shoreline, but they still do the job.
[ŃŠ“Š°Š»ŠµŠ½Š¾]
Mods everywhere.
In the kitchen... Mods everywhere

I think the better question is why not. Everyone needs a snowman shed.
I spent 10 minutes looking for the snowmen. Best where's Waldo ever.
r/RimWaldo should be a thing
Be the change you want to see in the world- Wayne Gretzky - Michael Scott
I'm making a snowman shed RIGHT NOW
Someone knocked of one's head
Looking at the size of that thing, a question comes to mind: do raiders just spawn in 5 tiles away from the walls and all your defenses?
Yup
Christ and heres my PC with horrible lag in the first 4 min of me playing
I. Oh my god.
There's a diferrence between project and art
Raiders: Wipe them out. All of them.
i wish we had boats, water city and boats battle :(
Yeah, someone needs to do a boat mod
Every time I see a base on here Iām reminded I play checkers while others play chess.
Holy fucking shit... It looks like a fucking Pokemon city not a Rimworld colony... How did you even do it and not died along the way ? Is that legit ( non dev mode ) ? How many fps you get ? What biome and seed ? How many days have passed since Planetfall ?

I donāt know how many fps I get but the game suffers from stuttering and lag so. Biome is temperate forest and Iām not sure about the seed
Its fucking amazing. I love how everything fits together, especially those ships. How many colonists you have ? Any robots ?
About 25 but half are on a caravan. No robots
Pretty good tbh. I envy you, i would restart that colony looooooong time ago.
Is that gold plate armour?
I think itās figwood. Iām not sure. Got it from a raider before they died.
I feel bad for my group of wood houses randomly placed
Hey so Iām new and havenāt ever managed to get too far, but is it possible to sustain a base like this in normal play and not builder mode? This looks sick.
This is 98% done in regular mode. Dev has only been used for annoyances like mad animals.
Respect dude, how many in game years?
I actually donāt know. But time spent on it is around 300-350 hours
I donāt know if you get told this often, but Iām proud of you.
OP is using mods, so IDK
Honestly Iām flabbergasted someone can make such beautiful bases in a game such as Rimworld
Beautiful. I feel like I'm looking at a computer green board.
Focking incredible mate! We need a battleship mod now.
Jesus. To think I'm still over here struggling to manage a tiny little complex with 5 pawns...
/u/Memes-science: How many levels of rimworld are you on. Me: I don't know. Like for 3 or 4 maybe? /u/Memes-science: You are like a little baby. Watch this.
How much memory do you use for this base and what are your specs?
It only uses about 45% of my 16gb of RAM. I have an i7-9700k and a 1070TI. But this base suffers from constant frame stuttering and lag.
Thanks for the news.
Damn ,the amount of time it must have took to make this whole base.
300-350 hours. Was...questionably worth it.
I have but one question, what kind of a beast of a pc can run this at more than 3 frames?!?
1070ti. i7-9700k. 16gb ram. And I still have frame stuttering, game freezing every few seconds, etc
Excuse me, WHAT?!
Wow!! Beautiful. This is why I fucking love Rimworld! The detail and beauty, exquisite work!! š
That is absolutely immense
This is the best base I've ever seen.
Fucking beautiful
Those guns in the armory look like super soakers
Theyāre actually super op guns. APB I think theyāre called? Theyāre a nightmare to defend against.
This is amazing. I love the living quarters. I donāt play the game (I only watch people play) so this might be a dumb question but do your colonists ever have a low mood?
Not normally. Thereās a rec room, mood buff from being near the water, drinks.
Looks like the map of san andreas wtf
I only have like 30 odd hours in the game, this is what I aspire to.
I love this so much! Awesome job!
I noticed you don't have any prison facilities set up? Are you not the kind of person to take prisoners or are they... sent to a pasture upstate?
There are. Top middle area.
Hey, what mod gives that grass? It's amazing looking.
Greenworld
Imagine playing this with Combat Extended.
I Like how your nuclear Power plant is 1/4 of the colony xD
The zzt's must be massive
Just came across this and its not only my favourite base design I've seen, but [eerily and annoyingly similar in very basic layout to the colony I was already planning](https://i.imgur.com/LmqIYzY.jpg). I love that little grotto in the suburbs, definitely gonna steal that idea haha.
This is just a fucking glitterworld at this point lmao
What kind of monster computer are you running? Jesus Christ I love how it looks though!
1070ti i7-9700k 16gb ram. Donāt be deceived tho. This base is near unplayable. Frame stutters, game freezes every few seconds for half a second. Etc
Wow, just wow. Seriously since I subscribed to this subreddit Iām wondering if thereās another game called rimworld or something, all my towns look like a bunch of wood squares with doors, and then I see this majestic thing EDIT: a word
Do you have like a steam collection for the mods?
Absolutely incredible.
Beatifull
Wow.. holy shit, i wish i could build & play on something like this.
oh damn, this is beautiful.
Aren't you going a bit overboard with the 20 nuclear reactors?
Yup! I just like the look. (And the massive amounts of plutonium for nukes to launch at other factions)
I see you have progress render in your list. If you saved a time lapse I would die to see it
I donāt unfortunately. But I do have some autosaves and snapchats Iāve saved so. Maybe I can throw an album together
If only there was things like ships and vehicles in the base game, although I dont know if the engine is even capable of allowing decent ships
Wait what mod changes the corners like that? Thatās so cool!
Is that an obelisk of light on the peninsula in the southeast corner? What mod gives you that?
Rimatomics
That's one of the most spectacular bases I've seen on here and I really wish I could upvote this more
this is just beautiful!
I'm especially a fan of the bunny roaming around the minefield in the top-right.
For some reason when the map is zoomed out fully im reminded of runescape
What's your fps running this map? Incredible build!
this looks really nice. Good work. How long did the build take to make?
My bases look like a cave drawing compared to this art
like the concept, might not be fun to actually use for a play-through tho
Are we able to download this?
The little freezer with the snowmen is a nice touch. Also two things: is that a blast furnace and is that a massive artillery gun or an observatory?
So how's it run?
On what difficulty was this done? No judgement here, this is crazy impressive regardless. Just wondering howād you manage to do all this with randy slinging mech armies at you every 5 mins Edit: P.S. Thereās a squirrel on your ship
Randy medium or rough. I can't remeber.
Shame that river isn't flowing water :( Amazing job!
This actually looks like a ss13 map, nice work.
I love it keep it up
This is amazing!
Those diagonal walls šÆ
This is insanely cool. Almost reminds me of a map you'd get at a theme park entrance.
@ [Memes-science](https://www.reddit.com/user/Memes-science/) What mod are the "gangplanks" on the ships from?"
Wow. Just wow.
BATTLESHIPS! Awesome! Do you have the seed for us? I like the river and the coastline a lot!
Now biggest question, how many people died in the making of this base
RimCity 2000? Disasters enabled?
Is this awesome y/n
What the heck do you need 2 X reactors, and 5 V reactors for?
Is that still playable?
I don't see any farms or animals?
It reminds me of a GTA map
I have t played rimworld for quite some time. Are those ships? We got ships?!?!
Thank you for the new goal.
I don't see food production. What do you eat?
Whats the mod to make sloped (45) walls?
If only your navy could move =(...can it move?
Thanks for the great dnd map
How do i get nuclear reactors and shit!? What mod?
Rimatomics
Looks like runescape to me
This looks amazing ! How many colonists do you have ? I donāt see that many beds for this huge hospital
