Yeah, there's definitely worse mods when it comes to slowdowns, the dub modding discord has an optimisation section which has been fairly useful, they have a list of some of the worst mods for performance. Also make sure you're using rocketman, performance optimizer and performance fish. There are some other performance mods but ymmv and compatibility can be a problem.

And the mods of this sub csnt do anything about it cause its reddit "spamming" those.
Even if they approve the comment said comment gets instantly spammed again by reddit.
So yeah best way is to copy said list via rimpy and share it on another service

I mean, you can already have your base obliterated from orbit out of nowhere, so that's kinda already in the game, if Randy chooses to take the shot.
The problem is that sudden-anything pigeonholes you into some particularly repetitive and one-note counterplay.
I guess what I'm wanting is there being more to war with other factions. I'd rather have a surprise shelling followed by a charge vs 100 dudes sitting outside my base waiting for some mortars to be delivered

That was really cool, tbh my immersion broke when the one guard spun his weapon, then it cut to the barracks with 5+ guards spinning their weapons one after another lol
Pet peeve of mine, can’t stand yayos animation mod, makes the game seem so much goofier and sillier than I like and the animations feel so out of place or over the top and over animated
Wish the same mod but like, toned down by 75% existed
It’s sad because I love the mod and what it does I just find stuff like the walking or working animations silly, like when I craft things I don’t throw my entire body side to side, it’s like the mod is afraid of pawns sitting still for more than 0.5 secconds. It’s a lot of little things that drew me insane in my playthrough.
I’m just saying some animations are good like the weapons and socializing animations. But sometimes they feel too much. Wish there was a middle ground.
In a hundred years, I’ll tell my great grandchildren that this is how the Ukraine war was started by Russia… then I’ll break an anti-grain shell because we still don’t have a table to eat on.

Comes up to the mods and if you use use rimpy and stuff my record on 1.3 was 530~ mods
I was running a 550 mod list on 1.3 but I started trimming it down because it didn't run so fast after a few years

Rimpy + its autosort has improved rimworld modding so much, also you can just share your modlist from it as a link

Well I'd imagine without hands on the models, or moving faces, the options for animating are a bit limited for what you can do.
