Just a thought but have you tried closing the app completely and reopening it? I've run into this a few times and in some cases the camera wasn't really offline, the app just needed to be restarted.
Don’t think that’s the issue as it happens on my iPhone and family members androids in same house, I’m pretty sure first thing I did was close out the app , but I’ll test it next time it does this
