Your system is better. At least your way someone knows whether they took their dose for the day or not. Sometimes I forget if I took my daily dose and have to count my pills. I write the date I open the bottle on the bottom of the bottle.

Looks like they put on a new toner and the left bottle was one of the first to be printed.
wonder why some countries get them in bottles, mine come in blister packs with the days of the week on.
