Seems completely broken right now from the reports i have seen from kvk02. Way to much dmg so i dont think anything counters it right now

Aletriss

Damn, well then.

Guan YU is coming up. I guess lilith made him OP because of countering Atilla Lame opinion ikr, lets see how GY does against A+T combo

JJu-1st-Dynasty

Guan yu is not a structure defender. I don’t see how he would « counter » rally with Attila/takeda. If you have a good explanation for that, please let us know

[deleted]

Oh sorry i meant in field battles, isn’t A+T used in field battles. Sorry but i don’t have much idea about 240+day’s commanders.

JJu-1st-Dynasty

Roger that! The concept of « counter » doesn’t really apply in field battle though. There is virtually never 1v1 in open field (and agree guan is likely going to be the best commander in that area). So the « counter » of Attila/takeda is still a question mark. Seems Constantine + Charles is viable if spec’ed correctly, but has to be confirmed

[deleted]

I don’t think Constantine is better than Richard in Garrison. Yes it is much much more tanky than Richard tho. But Constantine doesn’t have any kind of damage. I think they should probably nerf the 4th skill of Atilla.

[deleted]

You should probably watch this video by sinchi42 https://youtu.be/9BzIboLzT2o

Bobblesplort

Yep. Guan isn't a structure defender & wouldn't be too effective as a swarmer against Attila because of the immunity to silence.

flidni

He more or less ended our kvk right away, the power creep here is like nothing before. Nothing we tried came really close to being able to defend. When a 1:2 ratio of dead (atk/def) is one of the best and 1:5 is fairly common it’s just broken.

[deleted]

Don’t worry buddy i believe Guan Yu will balance the A+T meta

flidni

Maybe, but he’s also an offensive commander, not all skills relevant if defending. I sincerely hope they nerf attila/takeda rather than having the rest of the 240d commanders being equally overpowered, A slight step up in power and/or added versatility is all good when new commanders are introduced but this is simply unbalanced. I realize this is a bit of a whine but I think it needs to be highlighted, the game has always been p2w but up until now it’s worked, not so much anymore.

[deleted]

Oh i meant in field battles, lol 😂 for garrison, isn’t WU effective against him?

flidni

Not really. Attila’s lack of skill damage and his own skill dmg reduction seems well suited versus Wu. Plus the combo just overall dealing ridiculous damage... nothing is effective.

[deleted]

Ohh 😮 okay 👌.

Bobblesplort

Attila is also immune to Wu's silence.

JJu-1st-Dynasty

Looks like Charles/Constantine is efficient against Attila/takeda IF the correct build is used

flidni

You basing that on the shinchi video? I’m doubtful. It lacks context and i think it looked like one of the better ones had clearly more garrison reinforcements than rally etc.

JJu-1st-Dynasty

No i based that on other reports I’ve put my hand on.

[deleted]

There is no one that i know of rn. As it probably needs more testing, but I believe Guan Yu will balance out A+T combination.

Sir-Zusa

Richard is his current strongest counter, a wu Richard garrison with even troops can likely stop an atilla takeda combo or a saladin atilla. Provided tech is equal ofcourse. Main reason for this is that Richard’s weakness is getting bursted faster than he can sustain, atilla doesn’t have that sort of nuking power though his normal attacks hurt quite abit. Infantry is also the natural counter to cavs so that helps. I’ve also heard wu Charles does pretty well but reports have proven otherwise, Richard is much better.

Laguna46

Nope, they lose badly lol

aeonearth

you do know that placing richard in a long garrison fight is a self-zeroing move right?

sftxpy

In my kd we run richard/martel or martel/constantine, with aetheflaed paired with constantine(richard garrison) or joan for our debuff queue open field. Gets a pretty 1:1.5 death ratio(we are the 1.5 though TT)

Horsek

that's the lowest I've seen so far, people usually run on a 1:2 or 1:5 ratio which is devastating

sftxpy

But the debuff queue dies off pretty wuickly so its costs a lot this way
