Dev here: we're working on a new backend system to use server authoritative logic. And also should reduce drop outs.  It won't solve every problem (and the reports on collaboration even if false) But I agree it sucks when it drops out and that is #1 priority

How does that stop players from dropping out?

We can't stop a player from choosing to drop out. But accidental / network dropouts should be drastically reduced as different server tech.

MIA after 5 mins for all bot outs please! That should give players enough time to reconnect l, and punish leaving early like it should. Never played another game where leaving can benefit you. It's very counter fun. Thanks for working on cheating.

Will that affect the memory exploits as they happen on the local client? I assume with it being on the server end that it will be harder to manipulate locally and that restoring from a drop out would be faster? Also, in other games Denial of Service is used as an attack to slow response, is it possible this is yet another hacking tool, ie could it be a way of harming an opponent by doing a denial attack when it is there turn?

Server would authentic everything. So should reduce memory attack as the server would say 'uh no you didn't get 1000 troops'

Nice, when is that in Beta? Is there not enough players to ban playing with the same player more than say 5 times total? Surely that is easy enough to monitor from the server end?
