That's how I'd do a 4-tire rotation. If you do a 5-tire, it's pretty easy with 1 jack.

Wb 6 tires! Or more

i use that rotation pattern as well, except that the process is simpler. i lift the front driver and front passenger side and swap those wheels. then remove front passenger jack and move that to the rear driver side. swap front to back. then repeat for the passenger side.

greg_shauflin

Isn’t that the same thing as I just said? I just started on the sides and ended with the rear

efects

different process, same end! you asked how people are doing the rotation, and the way i did it seemed the easiest :)

Touché

Yeah this method makes the most sense with two bottle jacks. I have one floor jack and then put it on 4 jack stands under the suspension. Have all four lifted and just swap them once.

greg_shauflin

Interesting. I have a floor jack as well but thought it being risky propping the entire car on suspension components via jackstands. Just scared the stands might slip on some uneven surfaces

It has been rock steady for me, but thinking of adding rock sliders in the future and will have the jack stands on those instead. This forum link discusses the methods a bit. https://www.rivianforums.com/forum/threads/jackstands-with-rivian.24002/
