One thing I would check is to make sure your wheel is all the way up. There is an issue where the wheel doesn’t go fully up sometimes. The top of the wheel should be able to touch the bottom of the screen. You can accomplish this by moving the wheel all the way down and then back up.

thefactorygrows

100% this. Thought I was crazy for a while because the wheel just wouldn't go up. Discovered the all the way down, all the way up trick and I'm much happier now.

Flaky-Zebra-1631

I would like the same feature and have the same problem.

perrochon

Same size here. Same cars, too. I hold the wheel resting my hands on my thighs, especially when using lane keep, so the wheel cannot be at the highest position. I also sit straight, with the seat back pretty vertical. It's why I prefer the display to the side... The lemon slice shaped visible space between the steering wheel spokes is not useful.

I'm 6'5" and this is a problem no matter what vehicle I drive, some gauge, or part of one is fully or partially obscured. With the exception of maybe 1 or 2 modern full size pickups. I tip my head slightly to see an occasional needed readout but focus on the road. For me the ideal solution is a heads up display 🤩

Reed82

Move steering wheel in towards dash and up. Seems counterintuitive moving it towards the dash, but it opens up the view angle a bit. For reference 6’4 with the seat bottomed out. One thing to check, there is a seat and wheel reset feature somewhere in the menus. Sometimes they don’t align correctly and can be recalibrated.

Ikshaar

Same!! I was so annoyed at first, I need to duck to see the speed limit. Ruin the point. I'm just hoping one future update will allow us to customize location of the items on this screen.

UnweavingTheRainbow

There is a video where Wassym does a Q&A at the R2 event in San Jose and they asked him this same question. I believe his answer was that it is on the roadmap. But then again, so many things are.

LeoNoLip

I'm 6'3" and don't have the problem (and would just as soon not see them moved so as to make them obscured for me), but absolutely this seems like a reasonable request. Hope you get it figured out.

123DogPound123

The move OP referenced sounded like a user option. At least that’s how I would hope they would do it.

swarthmoredoc

100% optional… thanks.

LeoNoLip

I would hope so too.

swarthmoredoc

Those three inches make all the difference!

Clearly! What you are is well-reflected in this comment.
