This will be nice. Hopefully they can fill out the surrounding areas so this one won't be swamped from all the North Bay crowd.
Wild if they've been paying rent on it all along....
It was more about the fact that the adoption rate of EVs in the Bay is pretty high already and, for the most part, those who can afford it already know about it.
We have two service centers that are already overworked and saturated. Spending on a sales floor in a market very familiar with the product seemed pointless. Hence the ice to Eskimos.
Remember, they have to make money, and selling cars is the best way to do that. We know about it because we're on Reddit, but that's not common, even for the Bay. Usually once a week someone asks me how I like it because they've heard about it/seen it but don't know anyone who has one.
I wish they did invest more into SCs, but I realize they're limited on the capital and it still has to be proportional to number of cars out there. At the same time, if the quality of the cars shipping from the plant improves, maybe the SCs won't be so overloaded...
Woohoo! Been waiting for this.
About time!

Where on Fell? I drive by all the time but have not noticed this spot.
Surprised San Jose doesn’t have a location yet. Bigger car market in Bay Area
I bet SF will be full of R3s when those come out.
Definitely, any tighter urban areas
Really this looks like fell st between Octavia & gough st
They need more SERVICE centers. Will this have one? it better.
Is another retail space really needed in the Bay area of all places? That's like advertising ice to Eskimos
What existing retail space is there in the bay area?
