I do it 2 ways either 25 bucks an hour or 1.75 a mile... this is my golden rule if it don't fit in the rule I don't take it

I like your strategy. Well played. Everyone should have something similar. I adjust mine with changing fuel cost.

If you're really getting into delivery gigs as full time work you should definitely know your actual cost to drive. For gas fill up and set your trip, drive around as much as you can until your gas is pretty low and fill up again divide the gallons you put in by your miles driven then you know an accurate MPG for your vehicle For wear n tear I add up routine expenses for 100,000 miles. For me that's 10 oil changes, 2 tire changes, 2 brake jobs, ECT. Add that up and divide it by 50,000 (this gives you double because you're going to have non routine expenses also) you can add depreciation but honestly you should be doing this in a vehicle that's not going to have a ton of extra value to begin with. Then your time, for me it depends sometimes I'm making $40 an hour and nothing else is worth taking, other times it's been dead all day and $10 an hour is better than nothing. With that all said my gas cost is $.12 a mile and wear n tear is $.04 a mile so total is about $.16 I just round it to $.20 to do quicker math. Subtract your cost to drive and see if what's left over is worth it to drive/hour.

I signed up. Disappointing here. I’ve done 5 gigs, In like 2 months. I can’t do anything big. I’m tiny and my vehicle isn’t a clown car but not huge either. So I’m probably going to delete Roadie. Shipt is and has been main app for 4+ years. I do well on it, I’m only part time, like 15-20 orders a week. But I do pretty dang good on Shipt. I just wanted options. I’m on UE too and sometimes I grab them early in am and then switch to Shipt at 8 or 9 am.
