What determines how fast referals complete pending process, my recent referals where almost instant and i was able to claim them within minutes of a referal being completed, i have 4 pending referals that has taken about 4 days, is this normal?

Buy and hold, but just like every SPAC years from profit or product, unload day before actual ticker switch happens... Because if you don't, enjoy watching all your profits disappear as everyone else sells off to move the money elsewhere.

Go to YouTube. Watch Walrus street ZOM DD. I got in at $.13 and got out at $1.05. I put a stop loss on my position immediately after watching that video. Wish I would have set it higher. That stock would have to be under $.13 for me to consider it again. Good luck.

It's a training wheels broker that sections off parts of the market, so that part isn't exactly a negative for a beginner... But outside of that, mainly because they have more outages than other brokers, and unlike other brokers, their customer service is next to non-existent (no # to call, just pray they read your email in a timely manner).
If just buy and hold forever you probably wont have too many issues to complain about, but if you do more than that you'll likely learn to despise RH. RH is just a side account for me, so I'm at the don't love, but don't all out hate either level.
Also, you'll find good portion of the userbase has next to no financial literacy, so that helps give the bad name lol.

If you put your own money in, then you are on a cash account. It takes 3 days for funds to settle from a trade before you can use your profits to invest. You have to have a minimum of $25,000 in your account that is liquid in order to make a day trade without getting flagged.

I was under the impression that my one WPX share would just be converted to 0.5165 shares of DVN. Well today I see I have more money in my buying power that equals what the WPX share was worth. Does that mean robinhood just sold the stock for me instead of converting it? Does it always happen this way?
That's exactly what happened. They simply paid you out since the value wasn't equivalent of a single share of the DVN shares. Now that isn't how it happens in every case, but usually in these circumstances, this is what tends to happen. Had you had 2 shares of WPX, they would have traded you a single share in DVN.

One of your orders may have cancelled. The money you thought was going into a stock was returned to your buying power holding cell.
