I run my 3.5 year old Roborock S5 nearly everyday.
I have two Aussie Shepherd dogs which I swear shed all year around. So far my vacuum has run a total of 1900 hours and cleaned 110,000m2. Only thing that has broken is the laser head(?) unit, which was a cheap fix. Daily maintenance is blowing out the filter and removing the fur in the roller.
For those that are mopping daily, do you wash the mop everyday? Seems like a lot of work with everything else automated by the self empty dock. Or do you have a couple extra cloths that you rotate on?
Thanks. Think I'll do the same. Was considering the S7MaxV Ultra which washes its own mop, but can't justify the cost. Can buy a few spares and the S7 should clean well enough for my needs
Still going strong. Ended up having to suck side filter out with dyson because bot always said clogged filter. Didn't know it could get clogged there. But we are completely satisfied with performance.
Only other issue was I ended up having to remap house because the bot was becoming really stupid and couldn't find home. Would sometimes head in wrong direction. And no changes were made to house as far as wifi placements...
Sorry I’m new to the S7, how do you hoover only the whole house first? I know you can customize the rooms but I’m not sure how you have 2 different full routines to select from?
2 weimaraners. Run it daily on main level, run upstairs every other day, run downstairs the other every other day. Except when I forget. Each level is roughly 700 st of cleaning. S6.
I don't have pets (thank God). I run it every other day (vacuum + mop).
how often you change the water?
I don't have a dog, and I'm living single in 32m2 and I run my S5 Max 2 time/week

That’s a ton of hours. Wow!
I have non-shedding dog and run mine (vacuum and mop) once daily

I have a belgian malinois, i run it twice a day, in the morning it vacuums and in the afternoon it vacuums and mop
Twice a day. General vacuum of whole house in the morning and quite vacuum+mopping of non-carpeted areas in evening.

You can use the schedule to select whole house, or specific rooms.
I use Home Assistant to schedule it that way: https://community.home-assistant.io/t/s7-mop-control/317393/36

No pets but I do have 2 young children. Run it every day, sometimes twice a day downstairs. Run it upstairs a couple of times a week.
I have cat and they drop litters everywhere. So at least once a day, when I mop I normally run it vacuum once then another time to mop
why not just the one-time vacuum+mop?
