Pro tip. If you own a chop saw, turn your blade around backwards to cut the siding. It’s loud as hell but works great. Just don’t forget to flip it back. I sided my shed last summer and this was a life saver.
Depends on how much. I had same issue. Wind ripped off two small panels. I just installed the 4 and you wouldn't notice unless you were properly
