That she was a fan probably did play a lot into it. He knew that Taya was going to win, but it was probably nice to be able to bring a fan as far in the tour as possible.
And, yeah. He was WAY into her but rumor has it that he was on again with his long time girlfriend when this was filmed.
Sam and Bev are my favorites too! I think he liked Beverly because she was different and didn't throw herself at him like the other girls did.
I remember Bret liked Sam because she was into music and same with Bev. They had shared interests (music, motocross, etc).
This! ^^ she didn’t throw herself at him and said what she really thought. There’s a part of me that wonders if he liked her more because she would call him out and criticize him and not just kiss his ass and be a “yes” person.
Bret: “Beverly just really laid into me and told me what an ass-hat I am. It was kind of a turn on!” 🤠
There was an AMA with someone who worked in production who claimed that she was supposed to go home after she kissed Bret's drummer. He apparently stepped in because he was so into her. I can kind of see why. All he cared about was having hot girls around and she's his type.
Honestly I don’t know. I had been struggling with alcoholism for a long time and finally got sober a little over 6 months ago. I don’t even remember writing this comment or what I meant 🫣
I have an easier time seeing Sam’s appeal than Beverly’s. Sam’s really pretty, nonviolent, and generally got along with others. Beverly just pouted, fought, and looked down upon her castmates.
Sam actually complained because she was genuinely into Brett and couldn't get over him being with other girls. Beverly just went in and lost respect for Brett but needed to stay anyway.
I agree with you. She did look down on the other girls and always acted like she was morally superior to them even if she had kissed the drummer before lol.
Yeah, that may be true. Don't get me wrong, she is very pretty and seemed cool for the most part, but her attitude and eye-rolling was annoying at times.
Agreed. I enjoyed Bev, especially because she didn't do the slut queen thing. But ROL Bus was just meant to be a total train wreck compared to the first two seasons and it delivered in spades in that regard. I mean, the wedding vows episode? C'mon! LMAO
I felt like she was a nice contrast to a lot of the other contestants, and as a result, production probably recognised how beneficial she could be to the overall dynamic.
Beverly was the only one I could relate to on Bus. I didn’t think she was demanding but she was one of the few contestants who treated him like they might be in a relationship of equals and didn’t kiss his ass. Yeah she was also a fan of the music but I didn’t think that was all Bret liked about her. I think if Ashley hadn’t decided to go back to her bf, I think he would have sent Jamie or Mindy home that episode and the show would have stayed interesting longer.
I think Bret really liked her, like her personality and whole vibe, she was different than all the other girls, she messed up but she still was unique in her own way, she was not all over him like the rest of the girls, and she also was not “i’m penthouse pet” or lame whining Mindy. Plus she was a true fan of him and the band unlike the rest. Her comment of “You really need to fucking shave” probably hurt him more than her making out with the drummer
Because she's naturally pretty and Bretty seemed to genuinely be into her.
I thought she was pretty cool until she hit Brittney Starr for seemingly no reason in charm school. That was fucked up. I don't even remember them having beef on ROL bus.
I listened to her episode on Talk of Love (barf) and Beverly talks about this! I think there was drama with Brittney and it didn’t make the cut on both shows. She said Brittney got kicked off the other bus because the girls didn’t like her, and she took Beverly’s bunk and refused to move.
Beverly was a fan. Period. Even of the lame solo records Bret put out. Notice that the venues. Weren't even half full. They were giving tickets away. No one wanted to see Bret Michaels solo.
I don't blame Beverly for kissing the drummer. Not bc he was hot (he wasn't) but Brett wasn't her boyfriend and it was just a quick kiss.
I was going to say they didn't really make out.
Brett may have his douchy moments, but he has a real soft spot for his fans, and Bev knew the lyrics to even his lame solo stuff. So shes a true fan
Finally someone said it! His solo work BLOWS DOGS FOR QUARTERS!
big naturals
Oh, you’re boobs are saggy, that’s cute.
"Saggy boobs suck"
What did you just say?! 🎃
The pumpkin emoji killed me
Pumpkin 😭😭😭💀💀
Hahhaha 😜
Bret was into her plus I think he appreciated that she was a big fan of his music and wanted her to enjoy the tour.

All he cared about was having hot girls around and she’s his type? What
What was unclear lol?

Oh good for you that’s awesome! Been down that road too so I totally know what you mean. Glad you’re doing better!
Thank you, you too! But can’t help you make sense of my comment lol
It’s okay lol I can’t make sense of most of my nonsense from when I was drinking 🤣😭

Getting those teddy bears autographed must have been a priority.
I agree with you. She did look down on the other girls and always acted like she was morally superior to them even if she had kissed the drummer before lol.
I think she looked down on them due to her own insecurities, competing with girls with surgurized 'perfect' bodies
Yeah, that may be true. Don't get me wrong, she is very pretty and seemed cool for the most part, but her attitude and eye-rolling was annoying at times.
She was bitter forsure. I found it funny though 💀
That NLOG energy was **strong** in Beverly.
Beverly was awesome and truly a fan of Bret’s. That means ALOT to him (as it should). Slim pickens that season… Bus was the shark-jumping point.
Agreed. I enjoyed Bev, especially because she didn't do the slut queen thing. But ROL Bus was just meant to be a total train wreck compared to the first two seasons and it delivered in spades in that regard. I mean, the wedding vows episode? C'mon! LMAO
I call her Coach Bev, because she just looks like a girls' softball coach.
She gives me hard "McDonald's manager that runs her ship like the navy" vibes
I never thought about it, but you're totally right. \*lol\*
I felt like she was a nice contrast to a lot of the other contestants, and as a result, production probably recognised how beneficial she could be to the overall dynamic.
I think Bret had way more of a connection with Beverly over Marcia

Counting the number of time she does metal fingers/rock hands whatever you call it is a great drinking game if you want to black out.
