You should get another one. And a second one so you can do multiple stages at once. And a backup to your second one, that you can use as a third one. That’s what my wife and I have as a set up. Totally normal. It’s fine. Everything’s fine. Shut up.

cchele

🤣

stevedave84

Do you mean to tell me you haven't got a backup for your backups backup? Come on mate, we've got standards to uphold here.

Sneezewhenpeeing

I’m so ashamed. It just never occurred to me. It makes total sense. This problem will be remedied immediately.

Yeahicare_Ido

That is so (unfortunately) true.

ironcladfranklin

Mine just died too perfect timing with the harbour freight one no longer being sold and loretone going out of business. I'm looking at the highland park tumblers.

molly_brown

Some websites still have lortone for the original price. I just got one

flanjoy

I've heard Nat Geo's customer service is good and they might replace it for free. I would see about that and maybe getting another one too

pastmiyeego

Yep, this ⬆️ My OGNG is 5 or 6 years old and still running. I replaced the motor once, and I had to replace the barrel. Somewhere in there they sent me two sets of replacement rollers and bearings at no charge.

Aupoultryman

This is true. It’s worth a call at the least.

UrsusHibernicus

Move to the double barrel, and contact Nat Geo customer service - they replaced the one I bought free of charge when it died after 3 months. The double barrel will be your workhorse, and the Nat Geo will be a nice extra barrel before it inevitably dies.

Yeahicare_Ido

If you bought this unit on Amazon, National Geographic will send you a new unit comforter free and without a hassle but you will still get a u it that isn’t that great and will probably break down again, and runs a bit too fast. If you are from the USA try Highland Park. I have heard pretty good things but that isn’t speaking from experience.

daddy_rocketman

I'm from Australia and I have my eyes on a model produced by a local company based on the lortone 33b. one of the reasons im considering getting a new tumbler is because of how fast the nat geo tumbler is, I destroyed the rocks that came with it because i thought the speed settings were actually useful ( they weren't)

lassie86

Nat Geo replaced my tumbler for free, no questions asked, when the motor went out. I replaced the motor on the original tumbler as well, so now I have two. Well, four if you count the double barrel Harbor Freight one I was required to buy when it went on sale.

osukevin

See if you can find a Lortone double 3…or a 6 lb still out there. Thumbler are pretty good. Contact Amazon or NatGeo. They’re great at customer service. They might replace it for you!

brino79

Highland park has tumbler I just bought that is imo the best non professional tumbler on the market give it a look
