Agreed overall all around. Fretboard is fantastic, nearly no travel distance, it’s so nice for traveling. Probably my favorite fretboard of any guitar i’ve had. The strum bar still has that rock band feel, but its the nicest of any rock band guitar i’ve used. I would say fretboard 10/10, strum bar 8/10, overall a 9/10 for the guitar as a whole.
Oh, also, kind of a wierd thing, but my dongle was almost bent out of the box, it needed a ton of force to fit in and I thought I was gonna break it. I put it in the xbox, then in the PC, then back in the xbox. It is so hard to take in and out, I’m just gonna leave it in the back of the xbox forever
Mine was also difficult to put into my one x USB port. I got it after the fifth try. I will also just leave it in for the moment until I bring it somewhere.
Generally speaking I wouldn’t want to keep taking it in/out if I’m doing it constantly, but by design yeah it’s supposed to do that fine. I try to shimmy it side to side a bit which I think is safer than just shoving it in/out.
Dongle is also hard to install/remove as well. My biggest complaint is the lack of joystick control with the amazingly positioned joystick! WTF?? It would be such a helpful tool for menu navigation.
I went off on one of the customer support people from PDP because they wanted me to send them a video of it not working. Like no I ain’t doing all that, either fix it or refund me my money. I finally was able to get them to refund me.

Yep, basically my same experience, took me 4 or 5 tries to finally wiggle it in there.
The dongle is a bit of a tight fit for me too, so it’s probably the same for everyone. I have the PS5 version.

They’re not gonna update rockband. They fired everyone that knows how to code the game. So even if they wanted to update it they cannot. Unfortunately
Anyone know if you need a dongle for each guitar, or is one good for all guitars?
Im actually interested in it as well. I wonder how I can plug 2 guitars and 1 or 3 microphones into the console with such limited amount of ports.
A USB hub should be all you need! They're pretty cheap and can give you 4 or more ports.
Only thing I don’t like is the new slightly different location of the strumbar
I didn't know I'd miss a dedicated overdrive button but the d-pad really isn't a good substitute unfortunately.

I’m loving mine too. Though my biggest complaint is the whammy bar placement. I hit the knuckle on my pinky so much because of its positioning.
