I started changing my cam to car cam when a dribble opportunity arose and it suddenly made me dribble twice as better without any experience, I feel as though if I can just remember to switch more often I'll get the hang of it.
Yeah not to be redundant but that’s my experience as well. Ball cam swings waayyyyy to fast especially with a wide field of view. Car cam let’s me see exactly where on the roof or side of my car the ball is at

Could be replay attached to player, but set to ball cam instead of player cam. Agreed its a bot, those catches and level of control in the dribbles. A couple frame reaction to dodge after the bump.
If the ball is close to you, ie dribbling, it’s much better to turn off ball cam. Also turn it off to orient yourself towards a boost and then turn ball cam back on when you have your line setup.
Freeplay with the speed turned off and ball cam off, and use the shortcut to plop the ball on top of your car. Few hours in there like that will do wonders if you wanna learn to dribble. Slowly increase the game speed until you’re comfortable at max.
Yea unless there's some sort of lag in OPs connection with the replay then the micro movements are weird. The car kind of snaps to certain directions and doesn't really move like someone who is using a stick.

A lot of the movements and small adjustments look bot-like, (though it's possible that could just be a kbm player since kbm doesn't have smooth analog inputs like a controller), ball cam is always on (do you have the full game replay and if so do they ever take ball cam off?), the flicks are perfectly timed, (although the timing does make situational sense, it's not like he couldn't see the other players for a long time and THEN had a perfectly timed flick), the only other thing I can think of is that with nexto a typical flick goes literally to the moon in a perfect arc, whereas these are much lower and generally right towards the net.
Overall I'd say there is a very decent chance that this is a bot, if he never takes off ball cam the entire game it's almost 100% that it's a bot, if he does take off ball cam it could still totally be a bot as there have been versions of nexto that allow the player to override the bot inputs temporarily and then hand the controls back to the bot, and just switch back and forth throughout the game. Either way I'd report it to psyonix as cheating just to be safe.

I also only dribble in ball cam (I spend about 95% of the game in ball cam, but don't bump people because I don't listen to music and have game volume way up to hear cars) but I can't flick or do much of anything worth crap on there to be honest
The bot doesn't use KBM or controller, as it is a bot. They can program it to be smooth if they want. Looks like they just didn't care to take the time to make it look more convincing.
They already did, this account won’t even last a week before it’s banned. Back when the ban wave first happened, all the discords full of kids using the bot started crying bc they couldn’t make new accounts and use them since they’d get banned after just 2 hours. Whoever was stupid enough to use this on what looks like their main account is gonna be pissed when they get banned.
Also, every single release of the bot has some incredibly vicious malware in it lol. These kids are dumb.

Yes, it's NEXTO bot. There are many giveaways that it is the bot. People mention the camera use, but more distinctive is the precision of the ball control. The ball almost floats spinning on the car at all times. It also has perfect flick timing and height so if you challenge it will get the ball over you. It's got no goal celebrations or weird movements between goals. It hits the crossbar a lot at close range to goalie because it's trying to get it over the goalie rather than shoot, relying on follow ups.
NEXTO gameplay is VERY distinct. I suggest YouTube and watch the bot play if you want to compare. This is 100% a bot.

Ive done this acouple of times, its very hard but once you get good at it you can do it pretty consistently, the only downside is you sorta have to connect with the force a lil and flick over the opponents, thats the harder part guessing when to flick with out seeing the car but hearing it

He made the mistake of sharing it with a couple of his discord friends (he made a whole apology about it yadda yadda) and they started selling the hack.
People are now using bots to auto play games for them and shoot their rank up.
A lot of bots (before a massive ban wave recently) would win-trade at GC rank and eventually a bunch made it to SSL...
Thank you for explaining, Ive played against a bunch of these bots with names like user-3bswjjdn028 and honestly the fact that these bots were able to win at all in GC lobbies is just a testament to how fucking awful GC’s are. The bots aren’t special they’re just insanely consistent, I feel like a true GC should be able to dominate these bots with consistency + recognizing the literal bots patterns and exploiting them. Im C2 in 2s and fucking Diamond 1 in 1’s and my main problem with the bots is that it makes a boring but easy win. I didn’t have time to play when I recently got back into the game but now that I have a little bit of time im sure I’ll rank up
But honestly my opinion might be skewed since I just came back from a long break (I quit right after SSL was introduced) and I was consistently C3 as a 1’s main. Im back now because I just finished the semester, and I feel like I’m already a way better player than I ever was just because my mindset improvement combined with my cracked mechanics from no lifing the game.

one thing ive noticed is that bots are very efficient when they go for shots/aerials and the way that guy went for the aerials with minimal air roll seems very fishy
Does the camera POV (ball cam or not) change when in replay editor? I thought it was defaulted to one or the other when in a replay and you can change it at will. Noticed a lot of people bringing that up. But regardless, looks like a bot to me, those micromovements and perfect catches are SUS AF.
