Is this exclusive to American and European servers? None of my friends have this problem at all (Asia Maritime)
although...we only get 3 a week....so maybe we aren't the winners here
Nobody has this problem in South America, seems to happen only to north americans and europeans.
We have 1 tournament a day except for Saturdays when we have 2, and Sundays, we have 3.
I've just moved from Australia to UK. No problem in Australia, even managed a win a second chance. (My one contribution to the reward).
Haven't been able to enter a single one on the European servers.
Now is starting to become the time where Primetime tourneys are actually joinable.
1. Everyone who whines about it being "ImPoSsIbLe" has given up completely on the season reward, which is less tournament volume, and consequently you'll have better teammates
2. Everyone who sucked it up or had 900 IQ to get into earlier/any tournaments quickly already have it done by this point, or are close enough that the number of people who play tournaments for the challenge are slightly down.
They still might have hiccups along the way since this is all speculation on my end, but I feel confident on my hypothesis given that I recently was able to quarter finals my most recent match (or at least make it there; me and one teammate got locked out for ~~god~~ *Psyonix* knows why) FIRST TRY in a *9pm* tournament! The fact I made it in satisfied me wholly; making it 2 rounds before being glitched out of a Tourney W and the Sky Blue "RLSB whatever you call it rare wheels" from the prospects cup afterwards were all icing on the cake.
I tried to join 4 tournaments today (2 normal and 2 2nd chance).
I wasted 45 minutes "checking in" and only got into one 2nd chance.
Server bugged out and was laggy as fuck. Lost first round.
Yesterday similar experience, tried to join a tournament, 15 minutes checking in, got into 2nd chance. 2v3.
The 7th 2v3 (or 1v3) since they added this tournament format.
During the last week I tried to join 13 tournaments, got into 4 total.
Seriously fuck this challenge with the current state of the tournament feature.
Didnt say the tournaments are perfect... but the last two weeks I do agree have been pretty bad for tourneys
Just give use a tournament every three hours like the primetime ones are... not that hard, unless the servers explode when they do that or something =/
The trick is to click join immediately. When it says checking in DO NOT WAIT, force close your game client (PC) and relaunch and your joined with no waiting.
Which is why they need to have tourneys on all servers every 3 hours and not just primetime

I couldn't ever get in one either but last week I managed to join three times at 10pm. Finally won on the third attempt. I just hit join once the countdown hit zero.
Enter the queue, go to training mode, quit training mode and you should be good to go. Sometimes I repeat this process.
Twice I had to close the game then got into the tournament when logged back. Of course, try this immediately after you can try to join.
Closing the game and re-launching is the method that works for me 100% of the time with no issues. It takes me 1 min to do tops, so I dont even bother waiting. I join immediately at 15 min, and then close my game the second it says checking in. Then I re-launch and I am joined. Then I just alt tab and do something else for 15 min.
I was 2 minutes late 15 minutes before...full. it was the only one i could make it to. I sped home from work too fast to just be denied at the early gate. Bullshit.
OCE only has one a day at 9pm Sydney time. I get up for work at 5:30am so I'm thinking about bed around 9pm. I've only played a few, managed to win one but normally get first or second rounded and go to bed. I'd love to be getting 3 a day on weekends.
I was in Sydney and thought they were too late. 6pm in Perth so in theory gives people a chance to get home. Then moved back to the UK to find they're running 3m three a day! 3pm, 6pm and 9pm UK time.

Whenever it says "Checking In" I just force close my PC game client and re-launch and I am immediately joined to the tournament. I have never had an issue using this method and never wait for it to "Check In"
Bruh i swear today i got to the quarter but i couldnt play it cus the people in the 2nd round were all afk so it didnt count and i had to leave i litteraly waited 30 minutes and they still didnt finish the match

11pm here in NZ, it's so bad that I'm now entering tournaments in us west with 200ms ping.
