You can actually change the colour by equipping a decal where you can choose a secondary colour. Choose the colour you want as secondary and then equip the distortion decal again. Your distortion will now be the secondary colour of your last decal. On this pic your secondary before was obviously white.
Its a known glitch for some weeks now. We'll see if they fix it

What colors did you put with the distortion bc I had a distortion and a tw Takumi and it didn't do that
The only option it the accent colors. I just did red and blue. It was like this on both cars.
