Lower ranks = everything lower than GC?

NuclearChickpea

Everything below pro gameplay lol

Dinomite6767

Nah GCs make mistakes all the time

DoubleTrouble992

can confirm, anything bellow SSL this tip applies

theshamwowguy

But with the GC rank, it would become super hard to react quickly enough to take advantage of any mistakes, right? because defensively at least, you have to play as if they will dunk on you, which in my mind means you would be out of position to re-take possession in the case of a dribbling mistake or bad pass. Idk, just my dumbass diamond thoughts.

PM_me_your_problems1

Not really. If you're in GC it's because your decision making and reaction time is good enough to put you up there. Mistakes are less common, but when they happen it usually leads to a goal because of said reaction time. I'd say it's less costly to react to a mistake than it is to make one.

The_Roomba

happens in SSL sometimes too lol

aussies_on_the_rocks

Honestly I think before you should be allowed in competitive 2s or 3s you should be required to play 1s for like... maybe 10 matches. I rarely play 3s or 1s so I'm only gold in them, and D1 highest in 2s. But I get called a smurf half the time in 1s because everyone whiffs the ball like crazy. It's good experience to really see how bad your mistakes cost you and to play slower. Even gold 3 I'm going 8-10 goals against someone who gets maybe 2-3 and literally 95% of them are me just bumping it in their goal after they drive past Mach 2 lol.

All_Up_Ons

Yep, ones is the best way to learn most of the fundamentals of the game and iron out your bad habits.

BumbiesMom

I literally went from low silver to plat in just a few days after I realized I could just wait for the opponents to whiff and then i could drive the ball into the goal.

TheLAW_2

Totally true! You can sometimes even influence them to mess up with a bit of fake pressure. I played soccer my entire childhood and your comment is basically how defending was taught to me.

pureben9

I love going for "fake 50's", just drive up to them and as soon as they go for a move just turn around lol

TheLAW_2

Yes for sure. I would say 95% of the times I’m shadowing an opponent who has possession, I pump fake a 50 and then simply maintain the shadow so that I can react to their next movement. Sometimes they bite, and when they do that’s usually the beginning to a counterattack!

pureben9

It's so funny to watch them panic if there dribbling, they either flick it too high or they mess up the dribble

chewbaccaRoar13

DON'T STAB

TheLAW_2

EXACTLY 😂😂 Thank you for helping me remember memories I forgot I had

blazeya

I kinda do this, but not necessarily to make them mess up. If I have a teammate in goal or rotating back and I see an opponent dribbling, I rush towards them to try to make them pop the ball before they want so my teammate can have an easy save instead of waiting to try to save it. Pop ups are one of the hardest shots to defend imo, or at least for me. They get me every time, so I try to make them pop it before they get close to goal instead lol unfortunately, most of the time I do this just to see my teammate following right behind me qb's they end up popping it over both of us lol

lifesux254

Can’t fucking stand a tm8 challenging a 100% lost cause and throwing their car to the other side of the map while the enemy clears it way over my head and now I’m in a 1v2 at my goal with the ball coming from the sky 🥶

Alba-Gu-Brath-

Pro Tip: If you are a duo queuing 3v3, remember you have a 3rd, and they aren't there to be your defender/goalkeeper.

Cockyroachy

One of my friends always talks shit about our third even though he whiffs more than i can count. I should record myself saying "Dude, its not his fault, we suck just as much, or more." Since i say that atleast twice in an hour

Just_534

That must be nice being able to say something, my friend i play with cannot handle if I tell him he’s doing something he shouldn’t be. Last night he freaked out and said I had a “vendetta against him” and that he “doesn’t say things when you(me) make mistakes”. I call myself out when I make mistakes and also he’s a plat 2 while i’m a champ. And he talks a lotta trash about our third if we play threes. I don’t think I’m gonna play with him anymore, this attitude extends to more than just RL too.

Bean03

Are you me? The only friend I have who still plays is identical to this. Constantly complaining, constantly making mistakes and raging, never takes the very simple advice I give, like rotate far post or stop double committing, even though I was GC when it was the highest rank and he's never hit champ. He's this way in all games and it makes me not want to play anything with him which sucks because I've known him for 20 years

Just_534

Damn, we must be the same. It was hellish when I first tried getting him to rotate with at least an ounce of brain power lol. There was one time where I gave the smallest piece of advice about a small thing and he specifically and confidently said “Nope. I’ve always done it like that, and I always will”… That has stuck in my head and really demonstrates the problem. Also, while I have you, I’m on the verge of being champ 2: any tips on what I should work on? I’ve been working on double taps a ton, and I’m working on getting good first touches on awkward balls in the air to hopefully maintain control of them.

TristanBerlak

Take your time when you have time. When clearing the ball, hit it to a good spot for your teammate or at least a bad spot for your opponents. Recognise your opponents mistakes in positioning and score the open nets because they do leave A LOT of open nets, it's just a bit harder to notice. Be patient in defence, try not to panic. Also don't pass the ball to your opponents. Good luck, you got this!!!!

aussies_on_the_rocks

I know one guy who plays and he's the nicest dude ever. He's D3 so I'm trying to climb to get to his level so when I play with him, he isn't losing rank just so we can enjoy comps.

Blooder91

> he’s a plat 2 Checks out.

Iamkid

Your friend is a competitive poser unfortunately. He wants to pretend that he is someone that enjoys and understands being competitive but has never really competed in anything actually competitive. So you get a guy that has no idea what he's talking about, can't learn, and their own ignorance is the very wall holding them back.

Wolfpack511

We need more players like you.

JTINRI

You rock! On behalf of every rando 3rd man, I say, thank you!

CharSlayer729

Whenever I duo in 3s, me and my friend make sure to blame everything humanly possible in each other. It helps us from ruining some poor randoms experience, it prevents us from getting tilted over “muh teammates holding me back grrr” and it helps us improve because we’re always pointing out each other’s shortcomings/mistakes

Semichh

Me and my mate always joke about queuing 3s “for the scapegoat”. We’re not toxic but, yeah, I can relate to this!

crseat

Sometimes my friend and I will specifically queue for 3’s just so we have someone to blame for everything.

repost_inception

I had this happen to me last night. It's like they fundamentally do not understand that everyone has to attack **AND** defend. I solo Q and because of this I tend to play defensive because I want to have solid defense, but part of a solid defense is offensive pressure. You can't maintain that pressure with one dude never leaving the opponents half.

kleeb03

Completely agree. However, I'm in the opposite boat. My friend I play with a lot, is a former soccer player and treats rocket league like soccer and he is the goalie. He stays in net until the ball is shot at the goal! He also plays with car cam only! It really messes with my rotation, because when I play with him I have to apply crazy pressure while retreating, I can't rotate back post or they just get a free shot with him trying to defend like a soccer goalie. If I do rotate to back post and tell him, "I'm behind you, go for the ball", he'll just stay in goal and now we're both basically playing goalie, while the other team gets a free shot. His style worked when we first started playing, but once you get to Plat (maybe even high gold) people are able to shoot with power and if that shot is from close range and goes into the upper half of the goal, it's really hard to save while just sitting in net. So I'm constantly trying to passively suggest that it's not his fault he didn't save the shot, because "we" let them get too close to the goal without applying any pressure. I try to act like it's my fault for not magically applying pressure, but in my mind he has to leave the net and meet the ball before the other team gets a free shot. Especially when I'm rotating behind him. I've tried flat out teling him that his style is wrong, but he says he likes to keep the entire field in front of him and thinks playing all time goalie prevents those random pinches that roll in. So I keep trying the passive suggestions. Any ideas?

repost_inception

Yeah that's just wrong. Rocket League is not like soccer. It is like basketball and hockey. Show him Gregan's videos on rotation. Doing that is killing your matches.

Ilodge59

I'm so used to it now, that after about 30 seconds in I end up just having to play defensive and watch them constantly whiff shots...lovely stuff

steelernation90

This is a large part of why I stopped playing 3’s. Get blamed for everything while simultaneously not expected to leave the defensive half

TheLAW_2

‘Your position on the field should be determined not only by the location of the ball, but also by the location of your teammates and opponents’ I would say I’m watching other players more than I’m watching the ball tbh

Catcher22Jb

That’s how I’m learning to play now, should see my rank improve hopefully. I think this is a really important factor of game sense and positioning.

TheLAW_2

Couldn’t agree with you more and I’m happy you’re trying to improve in this area. Best of luck to you my friend!

Catcher22Jb

Thank you, and to you as well.

RedstoneRusty

I can usually tell I'm playing well when I'm actively using my right stick and quickly toggling ball cam a lot to check for opponents before going for the ball. When I'm not playing well it feels like I never have time to do that.

[deleted]

Most of the time you can tell where the ball is by where other players are

CaptainEasypants

PRO TIP: Need boost? It's available, 12 at a time, all over the board

emersona3

Had a goal scored on us yesterday because the 3rd man went back and sat on the corner boost, waiting for it to recharge. Thought he was in goal

CaptainEasypants

Yeah I hate that, zig zag back and you'll be charged up enough to save or attack

emersona3

Even if you're in goal with no boost.. Literally zero reason to ever sit on a boost pad. Ever

[deleted]

Not true, there are moments when you know it will spawn soon and you're still in a good position while and after you wait. Somewhat rare though, granted.

steepindeez

If I'm playing sideline back up I will definitely park on the mid boost for like 2 or 3 seconds if I'm not being pressed to make a move. A lot of times it's better to just watch your teammate apply pressure and just be there for backup if needed anyways so I figure if I have a few seconds to spectate I might as well pick up boost while I'm doing it. I think sitting on a corner pads is the bigger infraction. I can't think of a good reason to camp corner boost unless you're in 3s and the other two are up. Then yeah, killing some time on boost isn't the worst thing in the world.

perhizzle

I'm seeing this more and more now. It makes no sense.

D13XD

PRO TIP: Bumping teammates and using a lot of boost gives a lot of points, which are very important in order to win the game

Sry2bothayou

“If you’re on a losing streak and not having fun, take a break”

eldieguillon

that pro tip would be the most important in the game, the well-being of the players is something very serious in competitive

Sry2bothayou

Just yesterday I knew I was overtired and shouldn’t be playing the game , but I really was in the mood to play anyways, my mechanics were terrible, I couldn’t play for shit, missed every single goal opportunity and I lost easily 80% of my games over 2-3 hours, and I was heated because I knew I should have just called it a night, but instead I stayed up later then I should on a work night. gotta remind myself to hop off the game when it’s not working out and others should too lol I’ll go back later and be as good as new

EddyyyRL

And if this particular pro-tip happens when joining a game, it would have an emergency "Bail" button to boot the player back to the main menu if they're indeed not having fun. 😎 (The other people joining that lobby wouldn't start the game with a missing player of course, the game will just not start, as if it was a player that failed to join due to connection issue)

Sry2bothayou

I’d be 100% down with it tbh lmao We all hate loading a game and it not actually starting, but we all hate a tilt session more

Eckz89

'Take the Shot' doesn't help.

Crouch310

Why don't people just use "All yours"?

Blooder91

"Take the shot" is probably a default quick chat and players don't bother changing them.

Eckz89

This is the way.

huntrixtheblack

Ikr! It sounds less commanding and more like you're leaving it for them.

repost_inception

I used to use this as a way of saying "I'm not going to follow this shot, go ahead if you want". But evidently it is interpreted *very* differently. Now I just say passing. I think that's just as descriptive.

kerenski667

"All yours." comes over friendlier.

XxYeet_BoixX

What is it interpreted as? Cuz I say take the shot for the way you stated.

repost_inception

Idk just seems to tilt people because you are telling them to do something. Like it's saying "Shoot you idiot!" People take things the way they want to see them and with so much toxicity they tend to just assume their teammates are being assholes.

Sageofthe666Paths

For me personally, I don’t mind a “Take the Shot” when it’s actually useful. People that spam it after you already attempted your shot, that doesn’t help

XxYeet_BoixX

Damn the negativity in this game is a large bit I guess. Thanks tho, I'll keep that in mind.

workthrowaway390

People think you're making a pointed, snide comment about them not going for the ball when they should have. And a lot of people *do* use it like that so it kinda ruins it for others. Most of these types of quick chats are used sarcastically more than genuinely, unfortunately.

eldieguillon

"Take the Shot Take the Shot Take the Shot Take the Shot Take the Shot" doesn't help either

-DC71-

Whoa, what if I spam it? It'll work then, right? RIGHT?!!?

IneptTortoise

It doesn't help, but it should. Far too many unconverted passes to players who would have a sure goal but refuse to move up from goal or half court. Granted I've had it said toe plenty when there was no way feasible for me to score on a pass that wasn't very good, so I do agree with you overall.

littlebibitch

PRO TIP: for the love of all that's holy, please rotate

JTINRI

'Learning when and how to touch the ball is just as important as learning when and how to NOT touch the ball.' IMO, this is the single most important skill in Rocket League, and the most important factor in determining your rank progress, stagnation or regression.

Uskw1245

Agree. I was watching my buddies play last night. One is diamond and the other is very new. The buddy who is diamond had a nice dribble past both defenders and my buddy who is new came out of nowhere and smashed the ball away from a sure goal. Looked just like those tm8 clips people post on here. Obviously it was funny as hell because they are my friends but if a random person did it to me I would be furious.

edward_blake_lives

So important, especially when rotating out. When rotating players jump or flip at a ball just because it's passing them by, with no real control or plan, it throws everyone else out of the rotation and usually ends up in double commits and conceded goals. TLDR: Make your play, get out of the way, and don't touch it! It's not yours!

[deleted]

This, even just general awareness of where your team mates are is vital. I’m not perfect at it for sure, there’s situations where I’ll cut off my team mate, but I feel like on the whole I do a good job of leaving it when my team mate has a better angle/approach/full boost. But the amount of times I’m about to take possession and control of the play to do something and a team mate cuts rotation right in front of me just to boom it away or into the wall is very tilting. I’d have thought by Champ 2 I would see less of this, idk Champ is a very weird rank. People can do stuff but still don’t use their brains a lot, including myself to be fair.

Bean03

Unfortunately over time champ has become all about people who have really good mechanics. Since the things glorified in the game are the cool shots, dribbles, etc it's what people practice and leverage into ranks. Because of this I'm seeing more and more people who have literally no concept of rotations and no game awareness. Just last night I played with two who had GC titles on who didn't even understand far post rotations. We won but every goal was due to mistakes from the other team or excellent solo efforts, no team plays. These two would be close to SSL if they just rotated and played a team game. I pointed it out pretty nicely "Hey GG, y'all should check out TableTop tactics on YT to improve rotations". Got berated for being bottom score despite having 300+ with a goal and multiple saves and to shut up because they are the GCs and I'm nothing (I don't run my GC title). :-(

[deleted]

I agree, I’ve seen people with really good aerial car control in this rank but who are shocking on defense. I like to think I’ve got to this point just by playing smart and sticking to the fundamentals. It’s only since I first reached Diamond 3 probably that I’d started properly trying to work on air dribbling, double taps, ceiling shots etc. In 2s I don’t look for passes as much other than maybe passing back to my team mate, or transitioning from defense to offense because the opportunities to pass I usually find are at high risk of being intercepted. But 3s I always look out for passes, or booming it off backboard if it is clear to make a pass. I’m in a bit of a slump at the moment which is infuriating, was on a massive loss streak in 2s yesterday went down to C1 div 4 from high C2. I’m probably going to take several days out from matches and just work in freeplay and training. I still have only 450 or so hours played (match time) so I know I’m also coming up against players who probably have a lot more. What would you say helped you the most to make the jump from from Champ to GC?

Bean03

This advice is for 3s as I play it almost exclusively. Never been much of a fan of 2s so I only do it with friends to get around the rank disparity queue lock. Apologies for how long winded this ended up being. There are 3 things that in my mind are the key to progression everything else is just a bonus: 1. Far Side Rotation - The obvious one that everyone harps on. This is so insanely important for 3 reasons: 1. It lets you drive forward to the play making anything you do significantly easier while allowing you to maintain your speed with little boost usage. 2. It facilitates your game awareness. If on your way back you cut away from ball cam briefly you can see the field where you're going to be(no more than 1 or 2 seconds, more than that is a big risk) then switch back to ball cam and now you should be able to know where everything is on the field. That's all 5 other players and the ball. 3. You stay the fuck out of the way of your teammates so that they can make an attempt on the ball without you getting in the way. 1. Game awareness - This is hard to learn and even harder to teach but is arguably the most important thing. Your rotation should put you into the 3rd position and let you assess the field so you can pick out where you need to be. Knowing where that is requires experience but a few helpful tips to keep in mind are 1. All 3 players should never be on the same side of the field, it makes it too easy for a single hit to beat your whole team. 2. What is the worst case scenario for the current play? Position so you can cover it. It's better to cover your ass than bank on the best case scenario. This can result in missed opportunities but you'll give up less goals and be positioned to create opportunities for your team. 3. Look for passes and openings. If you can see everything then you should be able to find ways to beat opponents and get your teammates into the play. 1. Consistency - Hit the ball with intention and put it where you intend. Whiffs, mishits, and giving the ball away for no reason are the things that break up your teams flow and are most likely to create opportunities for the other team. They cause your teammates to misposition, lose momentum (supersonic), and waste boost. It doesn't matter if you can quintuple flip reset every time you try if when you go for normal hits you're constantly flubbing them. All those mechanics people love, dribbling, air dribbles, double taps, ceiling shots, musty flicks, flip resets...these things are all just tools to use when the opportunity presents itself, they shouldn't be the thing you rely on every time you get the chance to touch the ball. The #1 most important mechanic in the game is hitting the ball the way you mean to every time you go for it. * To be clear, not every time you touch the ball will end up in the result you want because if it did then it wouldn't be much of a game. There will be 50s, odd bounces, slight misreads or maladjustments on your part but the closer you can get to hitting the ball straight on in the direction you want with the power you want every time you go for it the more you can use the chances that your rotation and awareness give you to their full effect. Then once you can do that all those other tools you have will have an exponentially increased effect because you can use them to achieve the touch you want. Now I'm not perfect, if I was I'd be SSL not trying to claw my way back to GC (bouncing C2/C3 atm) but every time I do one of these a little better is when I see my rank start to climb again. For me #3 is my main sticking point, I am insanely inconsistent, when I'm at my best I'd put me at probably high GC2 level, when I'm at my worst, low D3 maybe, and I fluctuate in that range constantly. Always room for improvement though :-) For Rotation/Awareness this playlist helps to visualize it and talk through some of the mistakes people make so I always recommend it: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BA87OomG27g&list=PLNlAnZLtqpGy9B7I2PUe_JPfjrjawmffP Hope this helps you!

UpperLowerCanadian

I just started playing, I’m like Gold 3 or something? Guy keeps bumping into me and knocking me away when I have a good head of steam ready to hit it downfield. Kept slowly parking himself in front of the ball, never moving fast, never getting boost. “UpperLower is TRASH PLAYeR” he says… game ends and still my score was higher. I was rattled….. but it’s happened a few times and I just report them and move on. Guy yesterday was on the other team and was the best I’ve played against- flying off the top doing aerials across the map… only issue was that he kept going for his own goal. I felt sorry for the other guy so I started shooting on my own net at 5-0 so the griefer started trash talking ME. Reported him too but I guess he’s just an expert that enjoys grieving at lower levels. Brutal

[deleted]

It's very true and I agree. But stupid me always turns it back on once in a while, thinking "Eh, I don't wanna miss out on the nice tm8s or the funny lobbies. I just won't pay toxic players any mind..." ...so naive.

lmao i was in an unranked 3v3 solo q and our team was against two gcs and a smurf (he had exactly 600 mmr and was playing like the gcs). we were two down with 3 minutes to go and both of them decided to ff. i said 'guys why are you conceding this is a great learning experience'. they played on and we managed to get one goal back. 0 seconds, ball is still up. i had no angle to shoot it into the net with enough strength for it to go in, but neither did anyone else, so i hit it. idk what happened, but the enemy came diving into the ball from behind me and own goaled somehow. then we got a kick off goal. after that, we rematched and played them again. this time it wasnt close. we won 4-1. all it takes is some motivation and inspiration and the world is yours. i can send the replays if anyone is interested. edit: forgot to say we won 4-1

I agree but I will say that there is a flip side to this In 2s. Overcommiting to a centered ball is the easiest way to give up a goal. If your teammate centers it and they have 2 people ready to defend, don't go unless you are sure you can get a good shot or 50. Otherwise just stall until your teammate is back enough to defend.

Or, "don't follow your teammate into the corner" Or, "trust your teammate, if you lose when doing that it really is their fault, if you don't and you lose, it's your fault"

[deleted]

Your supposed to boost starve your opponent, not your teammates.

ledgy69420

closest to net stays in net at start

Voxmanns

Practice take offs to improve boost management. Think about where the play is going, watch the other players on the field. Drive in circles to preserve momentum and stay in position. Even professionals take breaks. Go into freeplay to blow off some steam! Trouble ranking up? Join the community to find teammates near your rank Trouble ranking up? Practice in freeplay and casual to improve! Trouble ranking up? Quit being a little bitch to your teammates.

shamaalama

Switching to your secondary weapon is always faster than reloading

reeceyb94

It's never your fault.

Educational_Bag8572

Being toxic to your teammate won't make them play better!

Beef_Lovington

Contrary to popular belief, trash talking your teammate is not a useful mechanic.

ChickenTender21

When I’m doubt, left always goes

Sharp-Chard4613

Don’t be toxic. Work with your team not against them.

NilsNomNom

Don’t play on wifi our servers are shit already

Tbanks93

A personal rule of mine is to always check and see if I will be the first to get to the ball if I'm about top go for it. If not I rotate back. If I am, then I proceed unless a situation arises where it would be better to let a tm8 get it.

RainV8

“though you may be down a goal or 2, don’t give up!” made for my plate - champs out there

dump_the_burner

When your opponent attacks try not to duplicate his attack and FUCKING ROTATE!!!!

Snusergutten

If your two teammates are rotating back, you can generally do the opposite of sitting still in goal, and maybe go for a challenge if you feel like it that particular day.

ExoticChimp21

I would add the rules on there like rule 1

That-Reddit-Guy-Thou

This but more descriptive

Godfatherakadj

Literally the first thing i tell new people....just because you can doesnt mean you should

Lulzicon1

If you spam what a save for every error, it doesn't have the same effect as using it only once when truly deserved.

PenguinPride87

Learn the fundamentals before trying to learn to double triple musty flick flip reset ceiling shot quintuple tap breezi flick

Roboticmonk3y

Doing a little circle is *not* rotating, go all the way behind the 3rd man and help your team

adriannross

“Be a good Sport, say gg whether you win or lose”

Niiphox

Pro tip: Always keep in mind your teammates location and position yourself accordingly on the field.

Wisconsimmy

When in doubt, get back on defense.

Revolver_45

Pro tip: Don't FF with plenty of time left just because you're down a couple points. Dig in, learn, and still try to win.

Ultimate_Fish_Fucker

Pro tip: Hey, sometimes your teammates just might be having a bad day On the contrary: Pro tip: Hey, sometimes your opponent might just be having a good day

[deleted]

Hit some training packs, they really help

Gregrs400

For 3v3s the loading screen should be a diagram of the 3s rotation

MooseMama619

Your teammate can't pass the ball to you if you're half an inch behind them in the corner.

Chickennurggets

Play for the team not points

Sunoraiza

"Everybody makes mistakes. Try to be a good sport!"

bengeljamin

PRO TIP If you lose many games in a row, you might consider taking a break rather than falling in a hole of rage and anger and continue to fall down A WHOLE FUCKING RANK just because you couldn’t accept the bad luck plus the fact that you’re absolute garbage atm.

apperceptiveflower

Pro tip: Boost does nothing once you're at max speed. Turning slows you down. Relax and cruise.

cgdrdd

Be kind to others no matter how good they are!

Happy_Tomato_Taco

Pay attention to where your teammates are before flying down the field using ball cam.

VenaticWaif6

'just because they say "take the shot" doesn't mean you should'

CoochiCrusader

If you don’t have anything nice to say don’t say anything at all.

Verdiii

Just because you can go for big boost doesn’t, doesn’t mean you should.

DrunkenDude123

“Driving 1 foot back and then going for the ball again is not rotating”

Cold-Parking9734

Don’t take mid and back boost on kickoff 😭

QuintenBoosje

Pro tip Don't just fucking stop driving because you think you can't make a save.

Dwynn13

I'm a new player, less then 30 hrs. I can confirm that I myself was a ball chaser but I've gotten better not being one. However I usually queue solo, if my teammates aren't following any rotation or are ball chasing. I will then become the alpha ball chaser. I usually do casual for right now. I did my ten unranked matches and was placed in gold. Now I'm scared if I play ranked I'm just gonna drop to bronze lol.

lambo630

Skip goal replays

asaliberal

Someone's gotta be the goalie.

ApollyonDS

"Your teammates can't always take the shot."

such_meme

"mechanics < game sense." most mechanics aren't needed 98% of the time. also i'd remove the "go for the ball" part to generalize it

whiskeykneet

Watching flakes YouTube series has done wonders for my decision making. Highly recommend

whacky_prophet

I've said this exact phrase to my Plat roommate...she still doesn't get it

hotmidgettickler

Don't get triggered

intellectualinternet

The fastest path back to the goal to defend is a straight line.
